Woman's hospital memories contradict "birthers"

U.S. House candidate Chris Nelson earlier this week dismissed “birther” statements attributed to him and said he believes Barack Obama is a natural-born U.S. citizen and the legitimately elected president of the United States.

So does Eleanor Nordyke — and according to her, she should know.

Nordyke, 82, of Honolulu, Hawaii, says that on Aug. 4, 1961, she was in labor with her twin daughters Susan and Gretchen at Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital — the same place Barack Obama was being born. The hospital has since been renamed Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children.

“Birthers” is the term given to those who believe Obama was not born in the United States and does not, therefore, meet a primary qualification for the presidency.

Nordyke, in a Friday telephone interview with The Daily Republic, said the birthers have consistently discounted her testimony. She is certain they are wrong.

I think they intentionally misquoted her because she’s 82 and they figure she probably won’t A) read it on the internet or B) Raise any kind of fuss about being misquoted.

Seems like they might be taking advantage of the elderly to try to give credibility to those birth announcements.

Wonder why? Someone must be getting close.

Just more diversion...I still don't know how anyone elected in office reconciles the fact that Obama’s father was a British Citizn and there is no way to convey natural born citizenship status to Obama because of that one fact.

Even Ginsburg on the Supreme Court agrees with that.

What a travesty just another fine example of how the Progressives trample our Constitution, create precedent and get away with breaking the law. If they can succeed with putting an ineligible person in the White house there will be no stopping where they go!

We’ve found 2 instances of false information regarding names distantly associated with the birth announcements.

The cardinal rule in any genealogical work is to never, ever believe anything someone else swears is the truth. Don't bother with those sites unless you're carting around a truckload of salt. It's just too easy to lie on the internet.

That’s just it, there are lots of people out there who know the truth. They can’t keep them all quiet for the duration. People talk. They can’t keep secrets. It’s that old saying - he tells someone, then that person tells someone, and so on. I’ll give them credit. This is a stupid article. I happen to believe that Obama *was* born in Hawaii as is claimed, but this woman has no input on that question. It says she never even met Dunham at the hospital. Her opinion on what happened is worth about as much as mine is.

Dead little girl theory: I don't quite understand this little girl died theory.

1. How do you know it was a little girl? Where did you get your information?

2. If the little girl died at the hospital, how come she got a number? Are you saying that the little girl died AFTER she left the hospital? How long after leaving the hospital did she die, if she died AFTER leaving the hospital?

3. To me, the obvious followup question would be this one: If you know that Obama stole a dead little girl's number, then what is the little girl's name for all the world to see?

4. You know that I enjoy reading your messages, but if you don't have a name, I have trouble accepting your dead little girl theory, unless you go into more detail why I should believe your little girl theory.

Lets say he was born in Hawaii. His father was a not born in the U.S. so he is not a natural born citizen.

It would not matter where his father was born, if he was a naturalized US Citizen at the time of Junior's birth.

But he wasn't. Nor was he ever.

The announcement of the death was in the newspaper.

If a child takes one breath of air before dying they are issued a certificate of live birth. This girl died the next day - at which time she would have been issued a death certificate. I’m not sure, but I think the hospitals provided death notices to the newspapers.

I have the name of the little girl as it probably appeared on the birth certificate. Ancestry.com has a different name for her. I don’t know if that’s disinformation or if the name was changed somehow, or what. I’m not going to say the name at this time because I don’t want information to be scrubbed or altered, although it may be too late already.

We already know the certificate number belongs to somebody else so the question was just who it belonged to. I’m pretty sure this is who it belonged to. If the HDOH obeyed their rules regarding non-certified abbreviated certificates I could give you the proof... but we know the HDOH will never do that unless a subpoena or court order is involved. So that’s where this road takes us.

Girl's name: If you want to help us get to the bottom of this Obama birth certificate mess, I think you should give us the name you have so that relatives or friends of this poor little girl can say that you have your facts right or not.

I'm sorry, but by keeping the girl's name to yourself, you don't give the rest of us the chance to do further and deeper investigations concerning the stamped number on top of Obama's birth certificate, a number you say is fake.

My point is this: You or anyone else should not keep any important information about Obama's fake or real birth certificate to yourself. Put it out there so the rest of us can look at it and do more research on it. Thanks.

Nothing new in this interview that Mrs. Nordyke didn't state before in her earlier interview with the Hawaii newspaper.

She has no recollection of meeting Stanley Ann Dunham around the time she gave birth. She became acquainted Obama's family only years later when her daughters attended school with young Barry.

Given these circumstances, she is an ideal propaganda agent for the Obama machine now. But her statement does not establish that Obama was born at Kapiolani Hospital. Only a bona fide Birth Certificate could do that.
