Democrats are trying to impose a "secular-socialist machine" rejected by most Americans, an unapologetic Newt Gingrich said Sunday.
The former House speaker described Democrats as "secular" because those in power in government are beset by a "relentless anti-religious bias"; "socialist" because the Obama administration wants to determine salaries, own corporations and provide health care; and a "machine" because the agenda is being pushed robotically without concern for people standing in the way.

While I agree it needs to be said - over and over and to the point that even the stupid and indifferent understand and acknowledge it - Newt is the last person to provide the message.

We may not see him nor want to see him as POTUS but at least he is out there saying this! Good!
Sadly, no one else— besides Rush — will.
That is excessive. Newt knows what is right, and knows how to say it in the right way. He's an idea guy, and is extremely valuable.
That said, it's true he got into the "lets work together" mentality with the democrats and took some very wrong positions. Like McCain, he could not accept the idea that this bunch truly have evil intents for our country and our culture. He lost the courage of his convictions. He has admitted he was wrong about Obama and is speaking out effectively. There are precious few on our side that get it philosophically. I think Gingrich does.
So many of them have a long family history of voting Democrat. They are FDR’s legacy . . . and we all know what he was.
At least Newt figured it out. Too late smart, on 'that' one; but do appreciate that he is now on 'fast forward'. Cannot think of a single Repub spokesperson who has not gotten in the wrong line - i.e. the one I am not standing in - at one time or another. Whether they ever realize it; matters.
Don't think it helps to go back and 'batter' when we need so many voices to move so many, forward. No 'Perfect 'Ten' scores out there.
Fat chance of that happening. Newt is a prideful guy. Apologies and mea culpas are not in his vocabulary.

You beat me to it....first thing I thought of when I saw this.
The Climate Change lie, and more broadly, environmentalism writ large, is a fundamental building block of what Gingrich attacks as a “Secular-Socialist Machine”.
What Newt says is true. Newt, on the other hand, has “progressed” to join Dems in a bi-partisan desire for the imposition of a global fascist regime upon America. I guess he thinks it is going to be Christian. We all know how the banksters and UN love Christians.
