Canandaigua, N.Y. - A Canandaigua City School District teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with students has been arrested.
Marla Gurecki-Haskins, 36, is charged with official misconduct and two counts endangering welfare of a child. She's also charged with disemminating indecent material to a minor, a felony.
According to court paperwork, she's accused of "engaging in text messaging of a sexual nature that encouraged a sexual relationship between the defendant and two 16 year old male students."
She's also accused of performing oral sex on a 17-year-old male student in her classroom during school hours.
Gurecki-Haskins was arraigned on the charges this morning. She pleaded not guilty and was released on her own recognizance.
She has been a certified special education teacher since 1996.
Police say their investigation is not over. They said they have 2,400 to 2,500 pages of material, most of it emails and text messages.
I'm going with not guilty.

She might not be guilty, but the photographer is.
Agreed,,, the 15 yr old either made it up due to bad grades or is a queer. Not guilty!

Not Guilty. However I’m curious how the incriminating evidence came to light.
If my teacher looked like that when I was 17 1/2 and did that to me, I probably wouldn’t have been scarred for life all these years.
I heard she’s pretty anal when it comes to grades.

Some might think “dissemminating”(sic) and “oral sex” are one and the same.
