Sounds like she’s in the middle of a campaign for the GOP nomination for governor of her state, and a lowlife is trying to derail that campaign. Any effort spent now is a diversion. If she gives this one second more attention than it deserves, he has succeeded.
There will be plenty of time to pursue legal remedies later. The primary is June 8; if she wins that, the general election is in November. The statute of limitations for libel/slander will run well after those elections are concluded and well into her term, if elected.

I keep hearing this smear can be traced to Andre Bauer. To his credit, Bauer will NEVER be accused of having an affair...well...with a woman.

Good ole' boy politician. At the debate on May 7th he spent much of his speaking time taking his glasses on and off and telling us how he filed suit against nobamacare.
