Sestak says White House has contacted his brother over job-offer allegation
Washington Post ^ | May 27 2010 | Paul Kane

Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) said Thursday that his brother has spoken with White House officials about the congressman's allegation that he was offered an Obama administration job if he would stay out of a Democratic Senate primary.

Sestak ran in, and won, that primary, defeating the White House's preferred candidate, Sen. Arlen Specter.

He told reporters Thursday that he would not expand upon his prior statements until the White House releases its report on the matter. President Obama said in his news conference that such a report would come "shortly."

Richard Sestak, the congressman's brother, who has served as his top political adviser and campaign lawyer, spoke with administration officials Wednesday, Joe Sestak said.

"They got a hold of my brother on his cell phone, and he spoke to the White House . . . about what's going to occur," said Sestak, who said he expects the White House will release its information Friday. He declined to elaborate on his discussions with Richard.

3. And did the president know of the offer?

He sure as hell did if it was Sec of the Navy.

He still can’t ‘go rogue’ - he will need votes from the democrats.

A special prosecutor is warranted and I know you agree.

Just wait until congressional hearing in January. This Chicago machine will be squashed.

Aren't you getting just a bit ahead of yourself? We have to WIN first. I'm sure you have seen enough of what goes on in the world of politics to realize anything can happen in November. What I hope and pray DOES happen is we elect enough CONSERVATIVE Republicans to take back the House and Senate. Will that happen? We will know in November.

"Corbett should make it possible for the truth to emerge by convening a grand jury and summoning Sestak, Emanuel, and anyone else who may have been involved to answer questions under oath"

I'd sure love to see Corbett do this. Pennsylvania voters deserve to know the truth. It's bad enough that we've been represented by a traitor in the US Senate, but now this. It's disgusting.

I think it’s pretty telling that he refers to criminal bribery as “just politics”.

That should tell us everything we need to know about Sestak and everybody he does business with in the political world.

We are in a battle for the rule of law. Period.

Oh yeah. The cover-up has been “on” for a good while now, but it’s in amped-up mode!

All parties are on board, including George Soros and his money!

The only ones who do are the old codgers. My mom, 77 was this week turned on to Glenn Beck. She didn’t realize there was Fox News and Fox Fluff. We’ve gotten her straightened out. What teen can name the Walter Cronkite of today? Who freaking cares? They get there news from twitter, facebook and the internet. NO ONE older than 70 watches the MSM. They are dead. MY father-in-law is taking internet classes, he’s 76. He logs onto sites for news, canceled his paper and only gets his news online. The MSM is screwing themselves. They can only hold onto the infirmed.

Has Sestak said that Blago trying to sell a Senate seat is “just politics”?

Is it reverse discrimination if a white governor gets imprisoned for trying to sell a Senate seat but a black president doesn’t for trying to buy one?

You’ve got your mom straightened out..lol. That’s great!! I hope she comes to love Glenn Beck. His show is my husband’s favorite and he’s just five years younger than your mom! (Yikes). God bless your father-in-law. He sounds like he’s already enjoying his newly found freedom for news and research through the wonderous world of the internet.

The alphabet nightly news do a lot of damage to our country with their dishonest and not merely ‘biased’ news. We keep hearing that their news divisions cost the networks untold millions, and I sure wish they’d drop ‘em to balance their books.

The fact that Gibbs said the WH determined nothing was deemed wrong or whatever, then refused to talk about it, tells everyone the spin is still ongoing and he will get back to us. It also means it is a major topic.

The White House contacted Sestak's brother...

"Nice brother you got dere... be a shame if anyting happened t' him."

Let me guess... some guy named "Guido" with no neck made the call? Or possibly Rahm.

Corbett never saw a camera he didn’t like so I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes for this. After all, he is running for governor and this would be great publicity.
Everybody should say an extra prayer tonight — the “red dragon” prayer — that more and more people will see the truth exposed.
