It’s not about open anything, it’s about closing the military and banning anything but gays. The “gay ban” is oxymoronic and hypocritical in that it is about gays banning others.
Gays hate bisexuals precisely because they go to the opposite sex and they want to cock block everyone, simply because they cannot do it like the others.

It was passed by both the full House of Representatives, and the Senate Armed Services Committee. So the last step is for it to be passed by the full Senate.

There are problems other than living quarters—
For instance, any policy of approving open homosexuals in the U. S. military is going to lead to a marked increase in AIDS-infected personnel. It is inevitable.
The men and women serving are trained and prepared to provide first-aid to combat, or other, wounded—just how do you do that to a service member suspected to be circulating with individuals having a high probability of AIDS-infection??
Would you want that individual giving YOU first-aid involving possible exchange of bodily fluids??
Another aspect is perception of our military by other nations, especially at this time the Muslim nations. Homosexuality is anathema to the great majority of Muslims.
To think that our military can work successfully with indigenous armed forces in Muslim countries, after being branded with being an army of homosexuals and AIDS-carriers is unreal. Our terrorist enemies will use this as propaganda ceaselessly.
Finally, in regard to the “place you want your children to fight and die for”:
Is there an Utopia out there somewhere?? God has put us all here at this time and at this place to do his work. Some will, some won’t. But anyone with love in his or her heart wants freedom and dignity for all peoples.
It is not just about a place. We all might think more often about those departed, may God ever bless them and their families, who made our freedom today possible by the unselfish service that they did for all of us.
I can’t imagine, with all that they did, they approving of our blithely declaring that, “Nope...we are going to give up and not fight evil no more” for that is exactly what the enemies of freedom and of everything decent in the world want.

A stomach turning disgrace. We are fighting two wars and may soon be in a third and the priority of Congress is forcing the homosexual agenda on our fighting men and women. Without even a study done.
Call your Senators. Maybe somehow this can be stopped in the Senate. Make the call for someone who is no longer around to make it. Just do it.
Are you sure about that? It does not sound likely. I hope I'm wrong, but the primary group offended by this change will be heterosexual males in the military, a group hated by the left. What military males want does not matter in the slightest to liberals.
Any chaplain worth his salt will speak the truth of the bible, and the truth is that the bible consider homosexuality incompatible with Christianity. I never was censored in any way, and I would just keep on speaking the truth. Someone has to do it, and if the chaplains don’t, then who will?
