Why is the guy on the right with his back to us wearing a yarmulke?

Wow.
That most especially so since I’ve been hangin’ out at the PhotoShopErr thread for that last 6 hours.
Still, if that pans out, WOW.
‘twinkle-toes’
There you go, the caption nails it. I still think the yarmulke shot is from the other event, though.
Well, I’m wrong on that, too. I blew up the wider shot and made the adjustment for different camera positions, and the yarmulke shot appears to also be from the news conference. There’s the same seequence of people down the center row.
Notice in the C-Span pic with the flags, he has on a gray tie with red stripes, while the ones from yesterday's press conference on the oil spill, he has on a blue one. They may have simply selected a picture from another day specifically because it had the flags in it.

C-SPAN used an old pic? why? I can find no good reason for that
Ok folks, I apologize. I thought I was on to something. The headline threw me at the cspan site. I guess I need to check my color vision for the tie. Again I apologize for the false alarm.
That’s just a stock thumbnail photo.
The original surmise that they were cleaning up for him appears to be a good contender. It’s also possible some web designer just thought it looked more Presidential.
Presidential?
For that we’d need a President
They have a library of stock thumbnail photos. That is one for Obama.
Good Point.
bttt
The c-span pic was very tiny. I would never have noticed the different tie if I hadn’t greatly enlarged the photo.
Of course there's good reason - - following criticism of Ubama for appearing without the American flags, C-SPAN was told by Ubama's handlers to use a stock photo WITH the flags, and so they did what they were told. That's all there is to it.
You have no reason to apologize. I commend you for your great freeping.
What you have done is expose C-SPAN as a fully in-the-tank subsidiary of the Ubanga administration.
I agree.
