Video looks very cropped as well so you can't tell there isn't really a flag there.

I was checking out the C-SPAN website a few moments ago and low and behold they have a picture of Obama from the BP Oilspill Press Conference from 5-27-10 with the U.S. Flags clearly behind him. As we all know I noticed yesterday that something was strange about the conference and realized there were no American Flags behind the President which was a first. I then made a thread about it here and it was picked up by other sites. Now it looks like someone took notice at C-SPAN and digitized the U.S. Flags in. When you run your cursor over the small photo, it says BP Press Conference or something to that extent.

Weird. The picture shows the flags but in the video they aren’t there. Perhaps the picture is of an earlier news conference.
It’s a different angle. They shot the video from clear over to the right of him. The flags were out of the shot from that angle. You could, though, see the edge of the backdrop they hung behind him.
The photo is so bad, it could easily be added.
Weird, I am getting an error due to a freerepublic cookie on the cspan site, why do they even care about freerepublic cookies on cspan????

I watched the press conference. It was bizarre that there WERE NO American flags present. The wide shots confirmed this. Just the gold colored backdrop.
As a videographer, I tend to notice set dressing. No flags.
Seems like they notice their mistake too late, and are trying to rewrite history to correct it. Just like the left, reality is entirely negotiable.

I saw the original pic.
(just coming out of a 12hr food poisoning so not up to par in looking around for the original).
My question is the pic on cspan is it the same date as the original.
Hence same tie? would answer that, I would think...

Apparently that gold thing is a traveling dressing. It looks like the same backdrop in the Jewish Heritage event.
