She is wonderful. Judging from these 2 videos she is the only leader who realizes the importance of our borders. I hope. We are being invaded.

a lot of men are becoming a bunch of fairies now.
Mostly lefty men and these men like to mouth off but when you have a go back and say why not finish this round the back they then act all victim and go crying away.

Sadly you’re correct and it is conservative women who have more balls in congress than the men now, Sarah, Michelle B and now Jan.
Even look at women talk show hosts, Dr Laura, Laura Ingarham,(sp) etc talk about the homosexual agenda and yet nothing from Hannity beck etc, even when Beck went after the czars he never once mentioned Jennings and his perverted agenda

That’s very kind of you, VVV. I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic, but I’ve learned to respect your opinion over the years. I don’t always know (nor really am concerned overmuch) if I produce a respectable opinion. Sometimes I can be a very unserious poster.

My views of Governor Brewer are strictly based on personal experience, which carries a lot of my own prejudices and opinion....and you know what they say about opinions: Everybody has one. Also, even Mr. Brewer probably doesn’t know for sure what the Governor’s thinking.

Others have said on this thread that it doesn’t matter why Brewer does what she does, as long as she does the right things. I somewhat agree, but she’s a politician who needs to be watched every minute. This cult of personality I see developing around her is something I find a bit disturbing.

"What is happening in AZ is the same as what is happening in DC. The majority party is wielding their political power. There are no compromises.

The question is - which will the voters prefer?"

Are you drunk, or what? How can it be the same. In AZ the people SUPPORT what the State is doing re immigration as do 60% of the people nationwide.

What the libs in Washington are doing is supported by almost NO ONE as all polling indicated they are not trusted. Over 60% want health care REPEALED, the majority want Immigration reform similar to what AZ has while the libs in Washington are suing to have it overturned.

How is this in any way the same?

"...For some inexplicable reason, the Department of Justice officials met with the Arizona Attorney General hours before meeting with the State of Arizona’s legal team, and then allowed the Attorney General to hold a press conference to discuss the meeting.

This level of coordination between the Attorney General and the Obama Administration is disturbingly similar to the coordination with Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords earlier this week on President Obama’s still unclear plan to deploy up to 1,200 National Guard troops to the border..."

Nice that she called out the slimy tatics of the Great O administration... and mentioned Gabby who is trying to move far right to get re-elected. The way her advertising is going Gabby will soon have pics of her with a rifle at Nogales defending the border. /S

>AZ is unified in its fight against the illegal immigration problem.

I visited AZ last month. The one local we talked to made sure we understood that AZ was fed up.

McCain is certainly another story. We have a lot of history to go on that clearly shows he has shifted his position for purely political reasons. With Brewer, it’s not so clear.

Her actions to this point are quite strong, even with the removal of dem-wimp AG Goddard from the state defense of S-1070. If she hasn’t yet done something to complain about, what’s with all the negative vibes?

She’s been great on this but that doesn’t excuse her enthusiasm for tax hikes.

Jan Brewer is a role model for women in politics - don’t take no guff!

Women in politics????

Men in politics could learn from her!

She reminds of a lady who is afraid of guns—until she fires one and likes the feel of it.
