PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Conservative talk radio king Rush Limbaugh is getting married for a fourth time - and Elton John will sing at the reception.

The Palm Beach Post reports that the 59-year-old Limbaugh is getting married Saturday night to 33-year-old Kathryn Rogers in a Hawaiian-themed affair. About 400 people are expected to attend at the swank Breakers Hotel.

“I´m afraid she´s going to turn him into a liberal, though.”

Right. And Obama is going to start cutting taxes.

Well,

Some just like to not follow fakes, frauds, and trendy schemes that are B.S. May it be Gores global warming while he fly’s around in a jet and lives in a huge mansion, or Rush and his judging of others behavior such as Clinton, his hard stance on crime but use of drugs....... lol

I got it, you love Rush for the same reasons 90% of the blacks like Obama. Reality doesn’t need to match the rhetoric nor actions. It’s feel good politics on the right side.

I wonder, does Rush give those he tears daily into “a break?”

“... baptized in vingar and weaned on a sour pickle ...” LOL!

When people have no argument, what do they resort too?

You said: “I don't know if that is true. That is kind of harsh, but he certainly opens himself up to the criticism that he is a bit of a hypocrite. Preaching one thing for others and then doing something entirely different for himself. Look at our other conservative talk idols, like Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham, too. No husbands or traditional families with white picket fences either. Maybe it is God's humorous way of telling us all to lighten up.”

I would venture to say that **MOST** of these babble heads left and right are nothing more than demagogues.

They read the social and political climate and choose their side based on market forecast, competition, etc. It's nothing more than a business. In a mall you have people sell you cheap sunglasses, and most of the babble heads sell you second hand news interpreted for you in a way that reaffirms what you want to believe. There is a reason why CNN has a European and Asia division and why the same story will have a very different spin to it depending on which one you're watching. Like Al Arabia or Al Jazzier, they tell the people what they want to hear more-so than actually just report. Near all the babble heads, these commentators make their living by pandering to certain religious, political, racial, gender, national origin etc. groups and their sensitivities. Indeed Coulter herself isn't much different than Jesse Jackson in that way. They throw themselves in front of issues which they know will rally their target audience and they then cash in on these events. How much do they actually “believe” in what they say? How much do they live by their self professed beliefs? I would say that like Gore (And ALL of course in this web site will agree that we can bash him for being a fat, mansion living, jet flying hypocrite! lol) most are fake. They just read the mood and feeling of the times and exploit that for their own personal economic gain. They're savvy people. There is a reason why Fox news altogether went right. It was "planned" that way. They analyzed a market and realized there is money to be made! Do you “really” think Michael Moore believes the crap he says? I can't prove it, but I would lay money on it that he doen't. And of course there too most here will agree when I'm talking about Michael Moore, but not with Rush, of course not him. lol Those like Rush are near all fakes, IMHO. They're actors playing a role on the public stage. Others like O’Reily might have made mistakes and contradicted themselves at times, erred and had to correct themselves, but there is a sincerity because you can see it in their personal behavior, consistency of logic and position taken on issues, and the fact that their life sort of follows a certain theme that fits this way of thinking...........

People like Rush do more harm than good in the long run. Like the Gore's that ultimately undermine global warming despite spending millions on advertising, congressional testimony, a movie, speeches..... At the end of the day, those like Gore help give the scam of global warming it's death kiss. On the conservative side it's no different. The bomb throwers, the ones screaming on the radio, coming up with crazy conspiracy theories...... what they end up doing is making the entire conservative movement look laughable. They end up alienating people (potential voters), they discredit the philosophical greater cause of the conservative movement......... Most of these folks like Rush and Coulter are serving themselves no differently than Gore is with global warming. But in the end, they are not helping the conservative movement, despite their popularity among certain members within the group. -IMHO

Not really. His lifestyle is not really conducive to a long-term happy marriage. That, as far as we know, is not changing.

Yeah, a 40-80 hour work week keeping one step ahead of the bill collector is way more conducive to a long-term happy marriage.

Yeah, it is. Because you are usually together, working on it together, not jetting off to another part the world for wining and dining every other week, not being torn apart every day by every personality in the country, etc.

You make a very good point.

Sound argument, based on facts, consistent....... I can see where you’re coming from.

Red, when people like you lack humility, what do you resort to?

You resort to chastizing your fellow men for not being as perfect as you think you would be in their situation.

The description of your type of being "baptized in viniegar and weaned on a sour pickle" is 100 percent right on. Your way of "contributing" creates only strife among your fellow men and emphasizes your lack of personal humility. Dear, many of us feel sorry for you, and it's been said that it's a fine line between pity and contempt. I hope you resist the temptation to blame others for this and instead look inward and reach a point where you conduct yourself such that people aren't inclined to feel sorry for you anymore, but instead rejoice in your love for your fellow man.

A singer with a sham marriage performs at another sham marriage.

I may make some folks angry here, but I will say what I think. I don’t care if he launched right wing radio... Rush has lost any credibility in speaking on moral matters. As much as I think algore is a deranged boob, Rush ridiculing the end of his 40 years of marriage was one of the lowest points of his radio career.

Can't wait to hear him return to the airwaves, waxing poetic about "the lovely and gracious Marta Kathryn."

Elton John? If that was her idea, ... yikes. Nevertheless, I hope this one lasts 'til death do they part.

What's your point? A fabulously wealthy and smart man should be restricted to only wrinkly women? Get real.

Yeah, if I was a fabulously wealthy woman, I sure wouldn't look at a wrinkly man or even restrict myself to just one unwrinkled young man, but I'm fabulously smart enough to know how stupid I'd look.

What are you saying?

Some Conservatives think that the only candidates that are worthy are perfect people or those close to perfection and that is silly. No. Beyond silly.

People like you would have tossed Jesus under the buss because he hung out with whores and tax collectors and embraced lepers.

In the process you'll swallow camels while straining at gnats seven days a week.

Maybe Rush sux as a husband? Or maybe he REALLY sux picking wives? So what?

How many Founding Fathers might not withstand today's assinine scrutiny from the hypocrites?

Ahhhh yes. I chastise and criticize....bla bla bla I'm not perfect either.....bla bla bla........ Where are the poorly constructed religious arguments? Oh, wait I see your peer made them in a later post. lol

Bottom line, you like Rush like some people like a red or black Camaro. There does not need to be any reason, and all arguments are insignificant because all that's left is an emotional attachment to a conceptual idea of what you think a person represents. EXACTLY like those that voted for Obama, only on the Conservative side. Obama was all about symbolism, and to his worshipers criticism is either racist or xenophobic in nature, but they never really questioned his credibility or the factual content, or the sincerity of some of the positions taken because they were hearing what they want to hear.

Rush is a screamer, a blow hard that dodged the draft because of a cyst on his ass (quite literally). The positions he takes are often extreme and he surly must know that these fantasy's are about as feasible as tax cuts, free health care, free education, and talking nice to Iran........... Like those that advocated closing GITMO and withdrawing from Iraq immediately, Rush takes positions on issues that are completely unrealistic, but sound nice as long as you remain behind a microphone and only scratch the surface of the issue. What is commendable is that he puts his pocketbook where his mouth is, being a large philanthropist. But nonetheless, he's a hypocrite through and through and his decisions, his behavior, his choices in the execution of his free will, prove this. It's not isolated, it's not a single event in time and space, but over a long time in many different events, i.e. drug use, four wives, adultery, lying about his drugs etc, dodging the draft on a medical technicality and using a student deferment........... Probably the worst of all, is that he's simply a blow hard liar on his show. When he says things that he must know are unrealistic but appeal to his listeners, he's engaging in a form of deception for his own personal benefit, exactly like Obama. He exploits bad situations of others, takes things out of context, berates and belittles people............ You better believe that if something were to happen tomorrow, say a bomb goes off, Rush would immediately blame Obama. Before the scene of the blast cools off, somehow Rush will already have concocted an elaborate flow of logic making Obama personally culpable for this event. Of course he'll have his list of pundits all lined up. You afford this man a level of decency and respect he does not afford others nor even to you. He might make you feel good about your views, but feeling good doesn't mean you're seeking the truth, being fair, just, moral, consistent, honest, level headed, reasonable........ words that do not describe Rush.
