So I came across a series of news headlines that refer to a recent study which says that children of lesbian couples grow up just as well as children in households where there is both a mother and a father. These articles drew my attention because it goes right in the face of one of the core arguments of the effort to protect marriage: the idea that marriage is about family and a family is made by mothers and fathers together, who raise their children together.
At the bottom of their webpage is a link to their supporters and funders. I’d like to go through each of these funders and let my readers decide for themselves if this study is research or propaganda. Remember, the project staff is a highly professional team. So all that is left are those funding the study.

Since Lesbian parenting has only been “in” for about 15 years or so and the statistical sample sizes are small, I’d surmise that the jury is still out on the impact of such parenting!

Just saw an article posted here at FR a few days ago discussing the problems faced by young adults when daddy was a test tube. The article talked about how these young people felt cheated by not having a full health or genealogical background, how they felt different from others with an identifiable father & so on. Basically, there were no positives for sperm bank babies.
Doesn’t seem to square with this study now, does it.
These reports are false because the standards the experts use are deviant.
I dunno. As always with this type of research, I think it depends on how hot the two mommies are.

In a five-year period, six of the 14 lesbian couples had broken up compared to only five of the 38 heterosexuals.
The study also goes on to say that a "double does of maternal investment sometimes produces jealousy and competition between the comothers which the asymmetry of the women's genetic, reproductive and breast-feeding ties to their infant could exacerbate."
I didn’t believe the results of this study from the first second I heard it announced of the the lame-stream airwaves. Just as violent homosexual activists were successful at intimidating the psychological field into removing their pathology from the books, they are also successful in removing their well-deserved stigma from any kowtowing “legitimate” organization that won’t stand up to their insanity, or won’t turn down a bribe.
