I think there is some disinformation campaign going on. From Iran's point of view, If Saudi help was reported by Brit newspaper and denied by Saudi themselves, what is really true? The original report or Saudi denial. After all, Saudi could still let Israeli planes fly over their land. Premature leak and hasty denial could be also interpreted as another smokescreen.

On the other hand, it could be a ruse to throw off Iran. Israeli planes could fly over Kurdistan, over belated vocal protests from WH after the act. That is also the possibility. How about the story of Israel talking to Oman over the use of their airbase which came out months ago?

All kinds of leaks, some of them intentional, would come out in coming days if Israel would go for attack. Disinformation itself would be planned by Israel. They know who would leak info to Muslims or Iran's Mullah regime.
