This is funny as heck. I really hope Bubba gets elected just for the sheer entertainment factor. I'm close enough to SC that I get TV channels from there so I'll definitely be looking for debates.

There may be something to this.
The Dems are experts in dung, after all....

They didnt seem to have a problem with Greene when they were taking his $10 grand filing check. Now hes a disaster for them.
What changed?
Same as the oddball for Lt Gov in Illinois?
And they quickly got rid of him !!!

Yes, and the Democrats attacking Greene are showing their own racism and prejudice. It is interesting how they are portraying him as "unemployed" and child like. But they conveniently leave out that he went to college and majored in political science and then served in the military. He has only been "unemployed" for the six months since he left service to our nation. Somehow the liberal Democrats all forget about that part.
The only interview I have seen with Greene makes him seem a lot smarter and better as a candidate than how his enemies in the Democratic party portray him. Greene stays on point, and pushes an agenda that is probably smarter than that proposed by most Democrats. He actually sounds like a Democratic version of a Tea Party candidate, and he sounds more competent than the typical Democrat, but of course the bar is pretty low in that contest.
An example from his interview:
TR What do you think makes you a better candidate than DeMint?
[Greene]: We have more unemployed now than any other time in South Carolina's history, so something isn't working. We spend two times more on inmates than students. Priorities are not in order. I want to make a difference and Jim--the incumbent Sen. Jim DeMint--he's against the health care reform. They're trying to repeal the health care law that was passed. The Republicans are trying to repeal the health care bill that was signed into law recently. Things like that. That's the difference. I'm for health care reform. And getting folks to work here.
Read a real interview with Greene here.

Even if he were competent, he wouldn’t beat DeMint.

What would be the motive? Doesn’t DeMint usually run unopposed? Why put a dem on the general ballot at all?
To: billorites
LOL.
If only Olberman had asked Alvin if he'd ever heard of Chauncey Gardiner.

It is nothing short of disgraceful, and despicable, that people like Clyburn have seats in our United States Congress.
Very ignorant people elected by a more ignorant constituency.

Looks like the Dems are having trouble vetting candidates. Little things like felony charges, proof of citizenship, etc. Just small things you know.

Judging by our recent primary he doesn't have to.

I agree, and the guy is clearly a Democrat, with typical Democrat ideas which makes him the wrong choice in the general election. But to me that makes the situation all the more ironic. Suddenly when a guy who actually has more education and experience than many Democrats but that is not a part of the political elite of the Democrat party runs and wins he is portrayed as a plant, a dufus, childlike, unemployed, etc. by his own party members.
Watching supposedly unbiased, post partisan liberals in action is hilarious.

....allegedly facing felony charges for showing pornographic images to a college student...I thought this was strange. How can it be a crime to show a college student a pornographic image ? College is nothing but a get drunk, get naked and hookup experience anyway....Student was under 18 ??
