In general yes. It depends on their attitude which is partly due to how they were raised. We’re not high income, I stay home with the kids. We actually COOK which saves money and it is possible to live this way though not always easy. It involves work and a willingness to learn. When something breaks you have to learn to fix it yourself, some things require a professional but not as many as a lot of people may think.

Not really you elitist snob. Being poor doesn’t make one a criminal or a leach.

Not all ‘poor’ people are as you paint them. Various times in my own life I’ve been in that bracket myself but I have never voted my liberty away and I’ve never lived off the government...EVER. Plenty of hardworking people in the rural areas fall into category.
That resentment is an intentional consequence of the left’s policies -
divide and conquer.
