That is a comforting poem, thanks for sharing.

In descibing Heaven, and it’s wonderfulness that is beyond all human explanation, I heard it said once that;

“as a Christian, the day I die will be the best day I’ve ever lived. But it won’t be the best I will ever live.”

The Heaven John wrote about in the Bible is so full of wonders and mysteries that in our wildest dreams we could not imagine it.

With all due respect, a heaven which was simply a “continuation of what went before” wouldn’t be much of a heaven, and it’s not the heaven that the Lord promised. We are suffering creatures in a suffering creation. That is not going to keep up. It may sound boring and preachy at times to us now, but God himself will be the greatest love of all who enter glory. This will be the only place that it will make sense to “share the wealth equally” because there will be no bums and the wealth is freely given by God.
