First sentence is not necessarily true. Second sentence is not necessarily false.

There are illegal immigrants who want nothing than to become US citizens. There are others who are here to make a fast buck to send home to their families. There are others who are here to rob, rape, and murder. I'm sort of willing to find some way for the first to get what they want. I am not totally against finding some way for the second to do what they want, on a, shall we say, more FORMAL basis. That last group needs to go home as an urn of ashes.

Those who stand to gain: illegals, regardless of nationality, true-believer liberals who think it will make a nicer world, those exploiting illegals who still won't pay them much (and then only under the table--labor is cheap in a surplus), Democrats who think they can snap up the 30-40 million illegal votes and keep 'their side' in power, and assorted others who think they will come out ahead somehow.

There may be enough people out there with the hardcore Obamites to skew the results to nearly even. Sad to think there may be that many who just don't get it, but keep in mind that the ILLEGAL nature of the presence of these people is almost never emphasized in the MSM, and some people still watch that dreck.

Or maybe CNN has some sort of poll-bot to keep the numbers close, possibly a foretaste of electronic voting this Fall. (We need some people to keep a head count of people going into polling places, just to know if the numbers have been cooked beyond the possible).
