Oh c’mon...really?

I know these people think their degrees matter, but the truth actually IS- they DON’T matter and neither do their opinions. They blew any credibility that they possessed a LONNNNNG time ago.

Universities are the new zoos- DON’T throw stuff at the monkeys!

Shows that “Presidential Scholars” are clueless. Probablky reflects who’s paying their salary since a “Presidential Schoilar” doesn’t have very marketable skills. The poll is useless. It reflects the fact that the media selects the respondents with the intent to support their own biased opinion. I would suggest that we ask only military personnel.

"According to the Siena College Research Institute..."

I'm more interested in the who, what, where, why, and how of the Siena College Research Institute's existence than I am in what they have to say.

Lets see — Reagan only: 1) finished off the Soviet Union; 2) ended the Cold War; 3) created 28 million jobs; 4) extinguished double-digit inflation, double-digit unemployment rates, double-digit interest rates; 5) oversaw the freeing of the Iranian hostages; 6) restored America’s standing in the world; 7) greatly reduced nuclear weapons. But then again, he: 1) didn’t get a Nobel “Peace” Prize for doing nothing; 2) didn’t “do” a White House intern; 3) didn’t get honorary degrees from swish Ivy League universities; 4) was thorougly disliked in Hollywood, Georgetown and the Upper West Side of New York. So I guess he deserves 18th place as opposed to the great “accomplishments’ of Clinton and Obama.

A survey of 238 "presidential scholars" released Thursday ranked Barack Obama as one of the nations's best presidents ever.

And this is indicative of the 'quality' of most all the 'thinking' and 'scholarship' coming out of the liberal arts departsments of American universities.

Consider what they say, then assume the opposite is mostly likely true.

The Siena College Research Institute (SRI) Survey of U.S. Presidents is based on responses from 238 presidential scholars, historians and political scientists that responded via mail or web to an invitation to participate.

Professor Tom Kelly at Siena University says the survey is anonymous.

I found this from where I posted it a couple days ago...

It took some digging to find, because Mr. Fund did not mention it in his article, but it should come as no surprise to FReepers that the #1 choice is FDR. Far and away, and for many years in this survey. Washington consistently #4.

After 18 months? 3/8 of 4 years.

Oh, I forgot they gave him the Nobel prize a LOT earlier than that. In fact, before he had done anything other than get elected.

“According to the Siena College Culinary Research Institute, Racoon Ass is currently in the fifteenth position an amazing three spots AHEAD of Fillet Mignon.”

I don’t know anything about eating “racoon ass” but “Coon Asses” from S. La.can damn sure cook it. (or anything else!)

For example:
