Uh, she didn't ever give any heart tugging stories about families being torn apart.

What are you talking about?

She did say....WHATEVER IT TAKES

Sounds good to me. You have a problem with that?

BOR was unbelievably irritating tonight. He asked for her opinions and didn’t let her give them. What she did say was quite sound, not great but sound...it was hard to get the interview because BOR loved the sound of his voice tonight for the 7 minute interview

She was the first major personality to support Janet Brewer’s Arizona solution so she’s on top of the issue as far as I’m concerned.

I want to hear ALL POLITICIANS SAY....NO person who comes to this country and doesn’t go thru the approved, legal process will EVER VOTE....EVER....even if they are granted some kind of “card” later. Yeah, even their kids.

she built a fence across her own property to stop illegal stalkers from walking across the border to her property. Out of all the politicans. I think she knows what is needed to stop trespassers into the country

Sarah Palin made it clear that she supports amnesty when she came to Arizona to endorse and campaign for McCain:

“I support his [McCain] position on immigration.” - Sarah Palin, Mar. 27, 2010

I agree with the poster. She didn’t challenge him that we CAN deport millions of lawbreakers. She didn’t challenge BOR when he said “we can’t starve them”. HUH? It’s not our job to feed illegal stowaways. Turn off the spigot and they’ll go home! Nada from Ms. Palin. And finally, I cringed when she said “if they are here illegally, and don’t follow the rules we will eventually set up under immigration reform...” My brain melted right there. Horrible.

There are two different observations here about which we will have to see for ourselves. I too would very much like to take Sarah seriously, but there are some deep disapppointments, ala John McCain, and even coming close to Bill O'Reilly.

But the Illegal invasion from south of our border is, in our view, among the most serious and far reaching issues today facing the United States, as we have indicated elsewhere on FR on many many many levels.

It is not about race, but about the integrity of the United States, its principles, its laws, and its loyalties, on the planet's stage. How one addresses it is a bottom line criterion for our support.

BOR was in NY and Sarah was in Alaska. There is an audio gap that often shows up when she's interviewed at home, like with Hannity, who knows to give her more time to hear his questions and respond.

BOR just wants to hear BOR, and was talking over her while she was trying to answer him - the whole interview got messed up. But no one at FNC has the balls to tell BOR to STFU for 30-60 seconds and let his guests respond.

I’m a big Sarah fan, but have to agree. Assuming she wasn’t “ambushed” and had some time to prepare for this segment, she should have come across as more articulate. The one mitigating factor is the delay caused by having satellite links on both ends, which makes it nearly impossible to have normal conversation without interrupting or disrupting the other person. Of course O’Reilly just bloviates on, and that’s got to upset anyones chain of thought. But I don’t think that was the only reason for a pretty disappointing performance. I wish it had been otherwise.

I'm not a McCain fan, but saying something like that is just plain stupid.

Being stuck on stupid is no excuse. She clearly doesn't support amnesty.

I’m too tired tonight to rehash thoughts and opinions I have already posted on other threads.

Apparently, some of us watched different interviews.

How many versions did BOR air tonight before he was satisfied with one that he completely controlled?

McCain’s position on immigration was no longer amnesty on March 27, 2010.

I saw the repartee' also...

My feeling is that you build the wall first then form a group to decide what to do.. There are no easy answers.. Any decision would have negatives..

She didnt say that but I think she is thinking that now.. probably the best way to deal with the illegals is on a multi-level answer.. One for males and females, another for familys of illegals.., another for legal familys with illegal members.. and maybe even more levels.. of "kinds" of illegals..,p> She had better get some of the problems sorted out in her mind.. for much better answers.. She had better get herself coached.. IF she did.. ANY TV time(speech time) could have blockbuster impact.. My thought is very few conservatives don't really have this all sorted out themselves in their minds..

There COULD BE some very good solutions to all these problems.. America is waiting for some decent answers.. Most even begging for some good answers.. That said literally NO ANSWER(s) will satisfy everyone..

There is no good answer to that question. We need to focus on closing the border and then decide what to do w/the illegals who are here. No matter what you porpose it will be called amnisty and then everybody will take sides. Its a lose lose, build the wall and patrol the border.

She did fine when he let her speak.

Pray for America
