She has been disappointing on this issue. You would think that with all the publicity illegal immigration has gotten for more than five years, she could have sat down with Tom Tancredo and gotten some really sound ideas. Tancredo has a really common sense approach - make it difficult for them to make money and they will self-deport, thereby solving the problem for us. This is the only thing that we can do. If we do not do this we will be caught in the amnesty trap of 1986. You can call amnesty by another name and you can add some psuedo get tough measures but it is still amnesty because they are rewarded by staying here.

You didn't hear what she said tonight nor what she's been clearly saying for months on this issue did you?

You think it might be because you don't want to hear?

Self-deportation is a great start. Penalties for employers kick starts that. Shutting down wire transfers pretty much seals it.

Then, we get serious. It is logistically possible and and great potential use of stimulus funds to trace, locate and repatriate illegals.

Get rid of the anchor baby interpretation.

No amnesty. A serious review of the current quotas is in order as citizens need jobs now. Everyone else who wants to play by the rules can get in line.
