Text of radio clip, as follows:
PALIN: Hi, this is Sarah Palin.
This is the time when conservatives must stand up and fight against the Big Government policies of President Obama and Democrats in Congress.
No one is a more forceful leader than my friend, John McCain.
Every day John is fighting the President's radical plan to put Washington bureaucrats in charge of your health care.
It's John McCain who is fighting for transparency and against backroom sweetheart deals.
If we have a chance to stop the Democrats in Congress and The White House, it's because John McCain is leading that charge.
Standing up for true conservatives.
Standing up for Arizona.
John McCain.
Character matters.
ANNOUNCER: John McCain is Arizona's last line of defense.
MCCAIN: I'm John McCain and I approve this message.
ANNOUNCER: Paid for by Friends of John McCain.

Why are you spending three months looking up trash on Palin? Most people would only spend three months on something if it involved monetary compensation.I wonder that myself...there is something more than politics at work there...like a severe case of misogyny or?...

"...Now, I'm sure since you think McCain is a traitor,"
It's not a question of "I think" McCain is a traitor, he IS a traitor and his actions have proven it. Our Founder has correctly labeled him as such.
"...and since Sarah supports him, Palin is not welcome on this site. I've yet to see Jim nuke Palin supporters or threads about her."
It's not about Jim "nuking" posters or threads, he stated clearly and unequivocally that depending on whether or not Sarah Palin changes course and ceases her embrace of RINOs and their statist policies, she will be toast and rightly so. Jim's views remain as they always have been, i.e., his first loyalties are with our Constitution, the Founding Fathers vision and our Republic. I believe it is safe to say that those priorities and loyalties are non-negotiable under any conditions, and I wholeheartedly concur, and I'm sure that you do too.

I have read #217. D1 is correct, as usual.
In fact, IMHO, D1 is FR's voice of reason.

This is the caliber of Palinista we have posting here at Free Republic.
That 'caliber' makes a .177 pellet look like a 20 gauge shotgun shell.

He is indeed. Unlike the half-watt detractors who assail D1 for stating the truth, DoughtyOne conducts meticulous and inscrutable research upon which he bases his posts. And he will be the first to say that he makes the occasional error (as we all do) but when those aforementioned detractors seize on the few errors while ignoring or impugning the hard cold data that D1 provides, they only demonstrate their own inability to face reality. IOW, in the words of my almost namesake Col. Nathan R. Jessep, "they can't handle the truth!"

What’s Sarah Palin supposed to do? It’s a “lose-lose” situation for her, no matter what she does. She wouldn’t be where she is today, without Senator John McCain picking her to be his VP in ‘08, and, if she endorsed J.D. Hayworth’s ‘10 run for the U.S. Senate, instead of endorsing Senator John McCain’s re-election, then she would of been heavily criticized for doing so. Endorsing John McCain creates the least amount of “overall political damage” for her, IMHO.

“Whats Sarah Palin supposed to do? Its a lose-lose situation for her, no matter what she does. “
It didn’t HAVE to be. Sarah could have stated that she liked McCain, but chose to stay out of the primary. She has gone on to conduct a full blown campaign for McCain, with million dollar fundraisers at the Arizona Biltmore. Then 4 appearances in Arizona. Then 3 interviews on Fox News Network. Then gooey radio ads here in Arizona.
By doing all of this, she murdered Hayworth’s fundraising. Many conservatives, will not vote for her now. I am one of them.

The vast majority on FR loathe McCain and don't want to see him anywhere near public office ever again.
But I'll say it again: if you're going to ostracize (and yes, hate) those who endorse RINOs, there won't be a single conservative left to vote for.
With consideration to list on my homepage, I'm sure there are some, perhaps even you, who would bargain and justify supporting them. Its already happened several times.
And one zot? Please. When there's a Rudy or Romney purge, I'll pay attention. Of course, I'll be on the purge list, so...

2 others were zotted on the same thread. One was sabe@q.com. A real troll. I forget the third ;-)

I still cannot fathom how such a tough lady, a 'pitbull with lipstick', a savvy politician such as she, couldn't stand her ground against McCain and say "I respect the voters of Arizona too much to interfere in what should be an internal Arizona GOP primary."
But she is on the record not once, but many times as saying that she (once again folks) "shares John McCain's vision for America", she embraces that vision, she calls McCain a 'conservative', she either really believes it, or she is lying through her teeth, so which is it?
If McCain wins this re-election bid, we will have Sarah to thank for it, and there is no escaping that fact.
She will have been instrumental in re-electing a traitor.

Don’t forget the gushing op-ed in The Arizona Republic in which she came out of the closet as a McCainiac.

Oh, and there were the Palinistas who made implied offline threats against me personally (by suggesting they knew my real name, my location, my supposed employer, etc.).
