Probably so, but the second headline really irked me: “I hope my mom will accept us.” I think Sarah Palin has shown a lot of grace, restraint, and acceptance up till now and that statement reads to me as rather disrespectful from her daughter. You just never know how things are truly said ... I personally think this couple feels they can acquire more funds together than apart (sorry for the cynicism) through the media, and I also think they probably really do care about their child's welfare as much as a young couple with a problematic relationship can. The money from this interview will give them a nice wedding gift, but if they get in a serious bind over this or that (which everyone does), it's only Christ that's gonna truly help them. I hope they go to church and believe.
