I can’t remember.
But we should be so lucky. :)

Rush talked about this on his show this morning. He also said he loves Apple products and he repeatedly has praised them but they would not advertise on his show. He assumed for political reasons.
Soros must want to buy Apple on the cheap, like he did Indy Mac.
Chuckles is just the empty automaton that executes the order.

Looks like Apple will have a solution out by the end of the week, while retaining very high ratings.
Congress, however, has ratings in the toilet and has not fixed anything for decades.
Plank, speck, Schumer?

I think that Apple won’t advertise on Rush is because Rush already does it for free when he talks about it. Why should Apple pay him?
To: Sub-Driver
The jerk-off destroyed IndyMac, and now he's throwing stones at another American Corporation.
Apple might have issues with the iPhone 4 that they'll need to resolve, but I don't need some camera-hogging Commie in Washington DC getting into the mix.
You want to solve a problem Charlie? Start slashing the size of our bloated Government. Then, when you have spare time, you can offer your sage advice to American Corporations...clown.

I think this thread may find common ground for the Mac vs. PC debate.
Jobs should tell Chuckie to "bite me!"

Chuck-off Senator.

Dear Senator Schumer,
FU, asshat! It is “incumbent” upon YOU to remember the limitations imposed upon you by the US Constitution. This is none of your d@mned business as a Senator, and you can KMA!
Respectfully,
Steve Jobs
Does everyone realize just how different things would be now if the President of General Motors had told Obam-bam to kiss his butt when Obam-bam tried to fire him?

I agree that Apple should fix the problem, but from a business standpoint. If they fix it, they fix it. If they don't, they don't. The market place will take care of itself. Schumer is being Schumer... an idiot.

Now that Apple has announced a press conference on Friday, Chuckie Schumer has written an open letter to Steve Jobs demanding that Apple solve the iPhone problem... apparently after Apple is going to solve the problem... thereby, showing everyone that Chuckie is out in front... leading the way... PING!
Please don't feed the anti-Apple Trolls,
it just encourages them!

"While I commend Apple's innovative approach to mobile technology and appreciate its service to millions of iPhone users nationwide
Agreed.
"I believe it is incumbent upon Apple to address this flaw in a transparent manner," Schumer wrote.
I believe it is incumbent upon Apple to refund the money of anyone who finds it unfit to the service for which Apple sold it. That is a transaction which relatively few seem to wish to exercise. The question of how many make that choice - or rather, of how many more people do not make that choice than do - is vital to Apple. Apple certainly will take whatever practicable action it legally can to maximize that number, whether a someone who undoubtedly has no idea what a decibel is or how that relates to the issue at hand "demands" it or not.

I believe it is incumbent upon Apple to refund the money of anyone who finds it unfit to the service for which Apple sold it.
I think they already DO this. Since no iPhone sold is yet past the 30 day mark, 100% of any customers can return it for any reason.
That is a transaction which relatively few seem to wish to exercise.
Agreed. And so the question becomes WHY? It may be that whatever problem is occurring is more perception that reality or it could be that only very very few have any issue, and this is much ado about nothing.
Apple is going to do SOMETHING about it today. Likely extend the warranty period, and replace any who think they have a problem and tell the naysayers to kiss it.

"...a problem that has many iPhone 4 customers up in arms..."
By observation of discussion threads here and elsewhere, I'd estimate that far more non-users of the iPhone 4 are "up in arms" than are actual owners and users of the iPhone4.
Reminds me of the NYT and Abu Ghraib: "If we shout hard enough and long enough, we can make folks believe that panties on the head are the equivalent of beheading."
IOW, propaganda warfare...
