PPP: Obama, Palin tied 46/46 in 2012 polling

No, this is not coming from Rasmussen or an internal GOP poll, but from the normally Democrat-sympathetic Public Policy Polling. PPP pitted Barack Obama against five potential Republican challengers for the 2012 presidential campaign, and the only one Obama beat was … Jan Brewer. Even that, PPP admitted, resulted from Brewer’s lack of name recognition. The headline, though, is Sarah Palin’s dead heat with the President:

That whole PPP poll looks suspect. Nothing nefarious, I just think that they may have gotten outlier data.

Anybody that would cast a vote for Obama again is just what Rahm Emanuel said they are.

The amazing thing is how close she is to 50% in this poll. And narrow number of undecideds.

She is in good shape if she wants to run.

Oh she can win..all this crap about how her family has drama..PLEASE what family doesn’t have drama in it. I think the Reagan family had their share of family drama, didn’t stop him from winning. PPP I don’t trust(This is the same poll that had Doug Hoffman winning by 20 points) but I do believe that she is either tied with the marxist or even beating him

But I thought she was unelectable.

The media are desperate to convince us of that, and I'm amazed at how many conservatives buy into it. I've talked to several people who say something like, "Oh, I love Sarah but she's just not electable." She's very electable, very conservative, and that's exactly why she terrifies the left so much.

I think Obama is unelectable; she is only "problematic".

Not to mention “stupid”, “ditzy”, “inexperienced”, “flighty”, and “uneducated”.

Oh, and she has a high-pitched female voice.....horrors...

Let’s not forget the people on this very board who do the same thing to her. “She has too much family drama” PLEASE, what family doesnt have crap going on in their lives. Sarah is VERY electable. She has my vote and if she faces off against Obama in 2012 she will win and liberals will jump off buildings so it will be win/win

Palin would be perfect as RNC chair, not president. The only problem is that there isn’t anybody else perfect for president.

Or, alleged to be on our side.

There are a lot of thespian “conservatives” play-acting on this site.

They fool no one.

Well said. Even some conservatives can be fooled by the media's constant negative drum beat.

You are right. Everyone has family issues if you look deep enough. The Palin family is not perfect. But my family is not perfect.

no human being is perfect.

life goes on

While SP would not be my first choice, she’s better than the Romney, Newt, or Huck. I’d prefer Christie, Jindal, Bachmann or Ryan, but none of them are running.

Daniels make look good on paper, but the GOP has a history of losing candidates who look good on paper. Pawlenty couldn’t draw flies.

Yes exactly Eagle.

But I thought SE was agreeing with me.

During the Presidential campaign, the Left saw those thousand of energized, enthusiastic, REAL Americans camped out to see Sarah Palin WHEREVER she went, and were unable to form a solid stool for months.

I guess “it’s just about sex” applies only when it is the President, not family, and when he’s lying under oath to avoid liability in a civil rights lawsuit.

If it’s just teens disobeying parents and being irresponsible, it’s perfectly relevant.

I believe that HILLARY will be the candidate. I would like to see a poll between Sarah and Hillary.

Obama can not win the election and the Dems know it, we have seen Bill out campaigning for opposite people than who Obama wants, Look for Hillary to resign her position after November and concentrate on her own campaign.

I used spell check in this post, you know, it does not even recognize OBAMA, why should we? hehe
