Eighteen months ago, Barack Obama took office pledging to deal with a planet in peril.
His party held big majorities in Congress, and the House answered by passing a tough cap-and-trade bill. A massive climate conference in Copenhagen, with Obama at the center of the action, focused the world on the need to address global warming.
Then came the nations worst-ever environmental disaster, an oil spill in the Gulf that put momentum behind environmentalists and scarred the image of big, polluting industries.

I thank G-d for their incompetence and ineffectiveness.
Whoever released the CRU e-mails is the real culprit in the failure of Cap and Tax.
God bless him/her!
Cap and Trade is in the shadows for the near future, but it will return.
At the risk of stating the obvious , Obama promised a million times “No middle class tax increases”. How could he possibly ram through the biggest middle class tax increase of all time and then expect to get anything else passed? Especially on a democrat only vote ? He passed stimulus first because it was the easiest to pass at the time. He passed Obama-care second because it was his #1 priority. He passed Banking Finance 3rd because it was popular enought to get passed 3rd after he lost his mojo. Bow they want to pass some watered down energy bill. Forget it. Tell Obama if he wants energy then extend the Bush tax cuts, simple HUH???
A headline today screamed: Democrats pull plug on climate bill. Dont believe it. Its a diversionary tactic.

How ironic, that we were saved from the world socialist plot, aka global warming, by the Russians. I could never in a million years think that such a thing would ever be possible.
Fox News has the story too -

Don’t believe it. If they pass anything at all, they’ll lump cap and trade into it in the lame duck session.
EVERYTHING on energy MUST be fought!
