Kerry may still be on the hook for a half million dollars in excise taxes because he docked his yacht in Massachusetts less than six months after buying it.

The Massachusetts law that ensnares them says that if you live in Massachusetts and bring your new boat up to Massachusetts for a visit within 6 months of the boat purchase....You have to pay full sales and excise tax on it. $570,000 in John Kerry and Theressa’s case

So Kerry and his sugar mama will be coughing up the dough sooner or later after the initial shock wears off.
