Leaked War Files Expose Identities of Afghan Informants
UK Times via Fox News ^ | July 27, 2010 | Not Stated

Posted on 07/27/2010 8:34:39 PM PDT by SmartInsight

Hundreds of Afghan lives have been put at risk by the leaking of 90,000 intelligence documents to WikiLeaks because the files identify informants working with NATO forces.

In just two hours of searching the WikiLeaks archive, The Times of London found the names of dozens of Afghans credited with providing detailed intelligence to U.S. forces. Their villages are given for identification and also, in many cases, their fathers' names.

Somebody wants to make sure we lose the war in Afghanistan, which means they want to make sure the Taliban and Al Qaeda win.

The White House’s answer to this will be “We don’t care, the leaks were only critical of Bush.”

Whoever leaked these files needs to go to the gallows. It probably was somebody in the US Military and they still have the death sentence. Leaking the names of the Afghans working with us is nothing short of murder.
Obama of course, will do nothing, since his administration wants this info on the street. We have a CIC who is also a traitor.

A President with any balls would find those responsible and charge them with treason. And preferably execute them at noon on the National Mall.

Conspiracy theory #1. Obama wanted this stuff leaked and actually facilitated it. It gives him an out to follow through on his scheduled withdrawal.

If he doesn’t aggressively go after the perps, what does that tell you?

The UK Telegraph had a more descriptive title:

Afghanistan war logs could lead to revenge killings, say intelligence

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/afghanistan/7913191/Afghanistan-war-logs-could-lead-to-revenge-killings-say-intelligence.html

“The lives of informants and double agents have been placed at risk by the release of tens of thousands of secret military documents, intelligence officials have said.

One of their chief concerns is to assess the potential damage to the military’s human intelligence network that has been built up over nearly a decade inside Afghanistan and Pakistan. Such figures range from Afghan village elders who have worked behind the scenes with US troops to militants who have become double agents. “

FoxNews sanitized it significantly. Please read the original article at link above.

Hmmm.. One of McChrystal’s entourage?.. Maybe someone can do a chronology on the timing here.

PFC. Bradley Manning is in custody for leaking the Apache video labeled “Collateral Murder” by wikileaks. He probably leaked the rest of the docs. May be others involved. Should be a capital crime, probably get a medal from “commander zero”.

No conspiracy at all...the evidence is there, he leaked it, and said he will not pursue or prosecute the leaker or the recipient of the leak.

More evidence of his collusion with our enemies.

The leaker's name is PFC Bradley Manning. He is a 22 year old homosexual who leaked the documents in protest against the "don't ask don't tell" policy.

He is currently not charged with any capital offenses and is being detained pending an Article 32 hearing. According to the informant who turned him in, Manning simply doesn't care what happens to anyone compromised by the leak because he is righteously angry over being discriminated against.

The informant has been receiving death threats from his own friends and colleagues, while the traitor is being praised as a "whistleblower."

“identify informants working with NATO forces”

So, the next time we need informants in a nation like this, guess how successful we will be? They will think twice about helping the USA since we can’t keep secrets.

We should expect that our cities will be nuked one day because of failures like this.

There is a reason we live in relative peace and security. The US military of the past kicked out enemies senseless.

No different than “Obama wants our free Republic DEAD and is doing everything he can to facilitate it.” It wouldn’t surprise me at all.

Simply another example of why it is nearly impossible for a country with a free press to win a war. Especially if that press hates the same country that provides them with their freedom.

How much do we know about this information? Forcing Adolph to kill his own was a tactic with success.

Let’s play a game. It’s called “Find a homosexual who doesn’t support Barack Obama”. I have yet to know of or hear of one who doesn’t. How come gays KNOW Obama is gay but the rest of America doesn’t?

The entire Afghan operation has been blown. Hundreds of our Afghan allies have been named and will die as a result.

Treason. Where's the rope? Oh, wait. The President says no harm done, they didn't try and stop it. No harm, no foul. It was all Bush's fault anyway. Never mind. Let's move on to something important, like one-payer health care or DISCLOSE.

“The entire Afghan operation has been blown.” — you hit the nail on the head. This disclosure causes irreperable harm to our efforts on Afghanistan and everywhere.

See link to the UK Telegraph article in my post 8:

“One of their chief concerns is to assess the potential damage to the military’s human intelligence network that has been built up over nearly a decade inside Afghanistan and Pakistan. Such figures range from Afghan village elders who have worked behind the scenes with US troops to militants who have become double agents. “
