I wish she wouldn't appeal. I wish she would ignore it. Dare the Feds to enforce this ruling.

This is a perfect opportunity to get this to the SC and have it heard. The judge’s ruling is as predictable as it is lacking in logic or an iota of the law. She was, afterall, a Clintoon appointee. The dems don’t make the dame ind of mistakes Pubbies do with their appointments.

IMHO this is a lose-lose for The Marxist Onada. If he had ignored it many other states would have followed AZ’s lead. Taking AZ to court only delays the inevitable. Also, many of those people without jobs must be saying WTF. It is clear that the potential for the ilegal votes trumps putting Americans to work.

I’ve been waiting for one, just one, conservative candidate to point the obvious. If I were holding my breath I’d be dead. The only conservative candidate making any effort to take Onada on is Palin. But she seems to be holding back.

If she’s a serius candidate she needs to come out swinging at every opportunity on every issue or her window of opportunity will close. Nov. is not far away and no so-called conservative candidate has taken charge. Romney is a RINO, Huckaby is a huckster, Jindal has been to quiet and the Pauls are libertarian’s first last and always.

Times up Sarah. Either commit and engage or go away. If it’s your intent to run a campaign on Onada’s mistakes rather than what you believe you’ve lost me. The usurping Onada’s policies are providing cornucopia of failure. Contrasting what you believe should be easy to do. This election is all about a vision for America’s future.

Do we return to what made this country the greatest economic engine and social leveler the world has ever known—via our Constitution and capitalism—or do we go down the failed socialist road? It’s as simple as that.

Do not ignore the judge; Embarass the judge.

Americans are not in favor of this ruling, and this will bite Hussein and Holder in the ass BIG TIME.

Americans will take care of this problem, and the result will be greater liberty for this nation and a repudiation of ObamaFascism.

I completely agree.

But, our problem is that most of those on the right still labor under the illusion that we are a nation of laws, not men. That the other side would abide by a ruling against them, that the "law" is even relevant anymore. As an object lesson for our side: drilling moratorium.

I think she should set up a bus depot for illegals to get free rides to Sanctuary cities, like LA, San Fran and New York. These cities like to pay for the welfare.

Thanks Responsibility2nd, and I love that idea, and wholeheartedly agree!
a federal judge blocked key parts of Arizona's immigration enforcement law from taking effect Thursday... it doesn't block a provision barring local governments from restricting the enforcement of federal immigration laws.

Susan Bolton is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. She joined the court in 2000 after being nominated by President Bill Clinton.

Unless I mis-read this ruling: The main part of Bolton's "enjoinment" was that Arizona LEO's could not be required to ask for legal citizenship. It still allows them to ask for legal status within "reasonable suspicion". Do I have that right?

If so, the AZ law still has some teeth.

How hard is it to simply ignore the damn ruling? Andrew Jackson did it just fine. The judge’s ruling is meaningless; just enforce the law.

Illegals in Arizona will hear the part of the ruling that says the law is STILL partially in force. They will interpret that as the law is fully in force and will continue to leave the state to better pickings in Kalifornia...or elsewhere. All is good.

The big deal is what is being done to guard the border. Without that, this law is pretty meaningless...IMO.

Here are my thoughts on this whole situation in Arizona.

What you have here is Clinton political hack in black robes who for whatever reason has decided that the wishes of the Obama/Pelosi/Reid regime takes precedence over the rule of law and it is really sad to say the least.

There has understandably been some extreme reactions to this. This is a state which has suffered numerous crimes waves at the hands of these lawbreakers.

And, it was quite obvious the Obama Regime wasn't interested in doing anything about it. That was why S.B. 1070 was implemented in the first place.

I'm sure everyone has heard about the Arizona ranchers who have suffered at the hands of these illegals and so what they did was round them up. Only to be sued by some hispanic civil liberties groups and in one case a rancher had his property taken away from him by a judge.

And people wonder why there's so much animosity towards the judicial system these days.

So, now that Arizona's hands are tied and the regime seems to have no interest in helping Arizona get rid of these lawbreakers, it may well end up on Arizonans to take matters into their own hands and defend themselves.

At that point the question is going to be how will the system handle these cases if it does indeed come to it.

What happened yesterday was one of the dumbest, stupidest most idiotic rulings I've ever seen in my life and I'm afraid we as Americans are all going to end up paying the price.

Regards.........

Ladies and Gentlemen: The CORRECT answer is for a 2nd Constitutional Convention to be held...we only need 1 or 2 more states to agree...and for that august body to then DISSOLVE the United States of America! With that dead carcass out of the way, the delegates could then form a NEW government, one that is of, by, and for the PEOPLE!
