People who watch the view do not have anything between their two ears.

Doubt if the figures are correct - what is from the media. However, I’d say a major part of them are all unemployed. What time is the View on - never watched it. If it’s during the day, I rest my case.

It's the WHY were they watching...
I watch him 'cuz I think he's a jerk....so a lot of people (like me) watching isn't necessarily a good thing. Gee...I missed him on the view...will I survive??
I DON'T WATCH THE VIEW.

"The View, featuring President Barack Obama I thought "The View" was one of the "chatter" shows that Obama claimed he and his white house do not allow themselves to get are not caught up in.
President Barack Obama has made a mantra out of insisting he and his White House wont get caught up in cable chatter, with aides proudly insisting they dont let 24-hour news outlets drive decision-making.
I view, excuse the pun, Obama's appearance as more of Obama's relentless campaign pontificating.

I’ve always thought a cable company could tell exactly how many people were streaming which channel through their boxes at any given time. Don’t know how DirectTV (satellite) or bunny ears would work without phone polling or willing participation though.

How could one person watch him on that show and not come away with the notion that there is something wrong with his gender preference? He oozes homosexuality. Too bad they did not ask him about his personal trainer, Mr. Love. I am sure he would have blushed and grinned his biggest simian smile then.

They (usually the Nielsen company) have monitoring devices installed in a certain number of homes. Do you personally know a "Nielsen Family"?
I don't.

Yes, I'm female. And I'd like the only conservative woman on that couch full of harpies and liberal media whores (Babwa Walters admitted to using sex to get access to stories in her autobio) to be a lady.
Would you really want to catch Ann Coulter in a crotch shot on camera? Really? Like Brittney Spears? How about your girlfriend, wife, daughter, sister?
I like that our gals are hotties. I just want them to be ladies, too.

Who knows? Seems like Missy just found out about veggies and needs to tell the world about them.

And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

Good point. After all these years, surely someone would know of a least one OR know one who is the brother of a good friend who is the father of a distant relative. ;)

Many viewers (in the said demo) tuned in for voyeuristic reasons- to see Behar and co. give he*d to their guest...

How do they know the race, age, etc. of someone who is watching?
To: Graybeard58
Do you personally know a "Nielsen Family"? I don't. I was part of a Nielson Family once.
For a week, I had to fill out a diary, in which I wrote down for every 15 minute block of time which show we were watching, whether we were actually watching, or just had the TV on and were in another room or whatever, and which family member(s) were watching.
Friends asked me to watch their favorite shows, so that they would show up in the Nielson ratings.
Having taken part in the Nielson rating system, I rather doubt its accuracy, because I suspect that a lot of participants behave like we did, by watching more hours of TV, and tuning in to shows we would not otherwise have watched because we were doing a favor for friends.

Well, I'm a little old, but I'm sure I would have remembered a "crotch shot"; all I saw was a lot of leg.
Now, admittedly, I wouldn't watch the View on a bet, and I didn't watch that one - so I'm basing what I saw on the still photos I've seen here on FR.
EH is the only one on there with legs worth looking at, IMHO.
So, I didn't see any "crotch shots", but then, I wasn't looking for any either.
I don't like Britney Spears, and Ann Coulter is great, but a little too tall and skinny for me.
Don't have a girlfriend, my wife wouldn't approve.
But you know, I made an innocent, and I thought humorus (laced with LOL's) jest at you, and you get your back up and pull my daughter, sister, wife, etc., into your absurd and NOW-like bashing because I thought the lady's legs were attractive.
I wish I was young again too, but what and opportune chance for you to get to bash the "harpies", or level you opinions about Spears? Coulter? Or just some good ol' fashion male-bashing? Sorry that it upsets you that males look at females, it's in our genes. Most women know that we do, which is why the makeup and plastic surgery markets are booming.
But it seems you're the type that is thin-skinned, so I'll mark you down as a "never reply to" again. Have a nice day.
