It's going to cost vacationers more to visit with Mickey Mouse starting Thursday, when Disney parks in California and Florida will raise ticket prices. Disney posted an announcement about the price hikes Tuesday on its Disney Parks blog. At Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, the base price for one-day, one-park passes will rise from $79 to $82 for ages 10 and up. Tickets for children ages 3 to 9 will go from $68 to $74. The additional fee for park-hopper tickets will jump by $2 for one-day access, to $54.

Disney World has a special resort for Military only called “Shades of Green”
Also anyone who has served in the US armed forces gets a park admission for free once in their life. I think it is for four days.
The one thing that you have to give them credit for is if you buy a multi-day pass (not a length-of-stay pass) and you don’t use all the days, they never expire. You can’t sell them, but they won’t expire or be subject to rate increases. I’ve known people who have bought future passes at the end of current vacations because they tend to raise prices every year or two.
But you never do. lol
I'm certain that it will be a monument to PC.
That is just a hotel.
It's even better if you get the dinner package and reserved seats.

I’d love to be able to go once during the Christmas season, but it’s never the right time for our lot. Right now I’m hoping to go to WDW next spring, but we’ll see what schedules and budget allow for. (And also whether or not I manage to get a timeshare exchange into a DVC resort.)
My family and I love Disney World and go a few time per year. I have only been subject to a ride being out of service once or twice in the dozen or so times that we have gone down for a visit. IMO, I think now that Roy Disney is gone the commitment to quality and “magic” will soon disappear and WDW will turn into a cheap thrill park like Six Flags.
The best bet for your money is Holiday World, located in Santa Claus, Indiana. Best water parks in the nation and some pretty good roller coasters too. The park is so clean that you don’t feel like you are in an amusement park, prices on food are reasonable and the second day pass is half of what a one day pass costs. Free sunscreen and sodas.
The Candlelight Processions are really cool. I have only refused a free ticket when it was wopie goldburg.
It has real non-pc christmas songs with an actual nativity.
You just have to be VERY selective about the narrator.
(gary senese(sp?) was way cool)
Here comes that INFLATION experts have been talking about! Disney & others will see a huge drop in profits!

Last year Disney gave complimentary 4 night tickets to any military (or retired)- this year they offer a 4 nite ticket for $125
This year they give a free one day ticket ot anyone who does volunteer work (certain qukifications)
Universal has similar military specials
We take the gkids to the Tampa/St. Pete area & they love the beaches & have asked them if they want to go to Disney & they say NO.
The kids say it's more fun to come upon a sea horse in the gulf naturally or an eel and experience it, rather than go to fake/plastic Disney! Gkids are 14, 10 & 8 years old, wise beyond their years!!
Halloween season is a blast!
Try a “Not So Scary” Halloween night, if you can.
The parade is wonderful! Great time in the Magic Kingdom after dark.
Yeah, I’m with RCI, which gives me a chance, at least. I’m hoping for Beach Club in early May, which should be off-peak enough that there may be availability. Though I’ll take any of them, as long as I can get ‘em.
Halloween also sounds like fun. For the hard ticket events, though, I’d have to wait until the kids are older, so they will be able to stay up late enough to enjoy them (two of them are autistic, so simply letting them stay up late would play havoc with their sense of schedule).
Of course, by the time they are old enough, we’ll have to work round school schedules. *sigh*

just stay away from the “gay” restaurant on the boardwalk. That lesbian simulated greek cook from iron chef slapped together.
