We are being destroyed from within by the insanity of liberalism. If Obama is re-elected in 2012, as Medved predicts he will be, then this nation is finished.

Good, I hope they all get the word and go to those States. Then when those taxpaying citizens are up to their neck in crime, hospital bankruptcies, schools overcrowded and the rest, or can’t order a coke without knowing spainish maybe they will understand why AZ can’t take it anymore.

Wait until these states [in these tough economic times] see their costs for social services skyrocket [and, thus, citizens’ taxes] ...

Then, they’re gonna want to run ‘em outta town ...

Just think of it as a conservative “Cloward and Piven Strategy” to help move towards bringing down out of control leftist state governments!

I don’t know where they are coming from w/UT. Because starting a few months ago, birth certificates and state id’s that date only from Jan. 2010 are the only 2 of the id’s they’ll allow to get driver licenses (people from other states or country’s are allowed a couple more.

They used to accept a range of documents for id before! They also insist on proof of residence (there are a few more proofs of that than they allow for id). Yet I’d swear they allow more documents for people out of state or out of country! But not a heck of a lot even for them!

My point is that they have really cracked down on what they’ll allow and not allow! They seem much stricter than they were! They insist on id, which of course they always have and legal residence! But they’re very picky about what documents you can use! One of my kids just went to get her license renewed, and she was really worried about having the right documents for proof of residence and id; and she was born in US and in Ogden, UT! Another thing, she’s 33 years old!

What I can’t understand is that they insist on a birth certificate every time you get license or id renewed. But the weird thing is: is that if you have a driver’s license or id on file, naturally, you would’ve had to have a birth certificate in order to have received it in the first place! Why should a person have to show it again for renewal?

They’ve become much stricter in voting in UT also. You have to have some picture id mostly, and proof of residence as well. They’ve never been THAT strict before! I’ve gotten out my id and voter card before, and they’d barely glance at it! They’d ask for name and address, look it up in a book, and have you sign by it. Now you have to show id and proof of residence, or you just can’t vote! Don’t get me wrong, that’s not a bad thing. It’s just remarkable in that they never, ever did it before! Well at least in the little UT town I’ve lived in for many years.

Ping!

I would have thought after the 9-11 debacle that this would not be happening anywhere in the US. Silly me.
