WASHINGTON -- The White House says President Barack Obama is a Christian who prays daily.
White House spokesman Bill Burton made the remark Thursday, hours after a poll showed 18 percent of Americans think Obama is Muslim, up from 11 percent who thought so last year. A third think he's Christian, and 4 in 10 say they don't know Obama's religion.

This is a little bit of background from 2008 on Obama when he was running for POTUS.....

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHEIST from Wichita, Kansas. Obama’s parents met at the University of Hawaii.
When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school.
Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, “He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school.” Obama’s political handlers are attempting to make it appear that he is not a radical.
Obama’s introduction to Islam came via his father, and this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son’s education.
Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta. Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.
Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches.
Let us all remain alert concerning Obama’s expected presidential candidacy.

Well it has to be true A pastor from Houston called the paper to tell them Obama prays daily and is Christian- either the pastor is psychic or he watches Obama on a video conference call praying everyday since last time I recall Houston texas is a bit far from DC

The President's Christian faith is a part of who he is, but not a part of what the public or the media is focused on everyday."

BO always calls the Koran “the holy Koran.” Has he ever called the Bible holy? I doubt it. Besides, no Christian would call the Koran “holy.” If it’s holy, that means it’s inspired by God— and since it contradicts the Bible, that would mean the Bible is NOT inspired by God!
This alone, IMO, proves he’s not a Christian.

It is uncanny his oath on the Koran, and his disrespect for the flag. It all fits doesn’t it.
Someone should remind Barry the bastard that praying to a lesser HIndu moon goddess promoted to an Islamic god is not Christian praying.
That dialogue and others like it are why I sent money to Keyes during his fight with Obama for the Senate seat. Obviously he was trying to challenge his own people — Christians—to do the right thing. The party was using Keyes’ skin color to try to do the political thing. But the people wanted the jiveass Golden Calf — free jobs, free housing, free sex, free healthcare, union bosses, political tyranny.
If Obama were to be tried in a court to persecute Christians, they would have no proof of his Christianity.
That’s what’s in the White House, alright!

This was a statement by Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit on Nile-TV. It was made on the «Round table show».
This is the statement recorded:
Adul Gheit said he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama, where the US President told him that He was still a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father, the step son of Muslim stepfather, that his half brothers in Kenya are Muslims, and that he was sympatetic towards the Muslim agenda.
Adul Gheit claimed Obama told the Arabs to show patience. Obama promised that once he overcame some domestic issues, like the Health care reform, he would show the Muslim World how to deal with Israel.
