Conservative superstar Ann Coulter today was dropped as a keynote speaker for WND's "Taking America Back National Conference" next month because of her plan to address an event titled "HOMOCON" sponsored by the homosexual Republican group GOProud that promotes same-sex marriage and military service for open homosexuals.
Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND, said the decision was a gut-wrenching one for his team because of their fondness for Coulter as both a person and writer-speaker.
"Ultimately, as a matter of principle, it would not make sense for us to have Ann speak to a conference about 'taking America back' when she clearly does not recognize that the ideals to be espoused there simply do not include the radical and very 'unconservative' agenda represented by GOProud," said Farah. "The drift of theconservative movement to a brand of materialistic libertarianism is one of the main reasons we planned this conference from the beginning."
Asked by Farah why she was speaking to GOProud, Coulter said: "They hired me to give a speech, so I'm giving a speech. I do it all the time."

Good morals, among other things, minimize the mess that has to be picked up by somebody else at somebody else’s expense.
yes I agree. You don’t spend several millions of dollars to make sure your birth certificate won’t be released. Not even if you’re right. Obama could let the real one out and slam all the birther critics and make them look like total asses and signficantly damage their credibility, if he really was born here.
But he wasn’t. It’s a moot point anyway. His father was not American, he is not natural born.
And the schools, the media, the streets, even some of the churches.
It isn't about their bedrooms, or it would have remained private and not become an issue in the first place.
Is the objective. The value in marriage is to provide a stable situation in which to raise children.
How is it of value to society or the species to have couples who would be incapable of 'breeding' under any natural circumstance raising children? (And no, I'm not talking about couples with an age or medical problem who ordinarily would be/have been able to do so.)
How does claiming that homosexuals are 'married' do anything but destabilize the very basic fabric of our society by confusing maritsl relationships in the minds of the selfsame children the institution of marriage exists, traditionally, to protect?
Thus, ending our RIGHT to free speech.
And silence the church.
Thus, ending our RIGHT to freedom of religion.
They want homosexual "marriage" and the right to adopt.
And they want to use the force of the government to prosecute AND persecute anyone who would dare say that these things are wrong. Good points, DJ MacWow.
In order for homosexuals to get the "rights" they TRULY want (because liberals always work incrementally), someone else MUST lose their rights because homosexuals won't have it any other way. Full "acceptance" of their behavior will forbid anyone from speaking negatively against it; thus, it is an assault on people's free speech and freedom of religion.
I think that ranks up there with being one of America's bigger problems.

Consider the irony if they are allowed to "marry" and remain promiscuous, and then, once "married" can be charged with Adultery...
I do too but unless it's in peoples faces, they'll ignore it. They have no idea what is really happening and the impact it will have. And when one tries to tell them, they brush it off.
How can anyone think a group deserves "rights" based on an aberrant behavior? What happened to common sense and logic?
Seems a lot of people have (or claim to have) friends or relatives who are “gay” and oddly enough - they are all monogamous, clean, well-behaved, often vote Republican or are conservatives, are often said to be against the radical “gay” agenda, etc etc.
And that sentiment for the homosexuals they know blinds them to the homosexual agenda.
Sometimes I think homosexual activists just make these claims; sometimes people really are so blind.
These people should ask their “gay” friends and relatives what they think about “gay” sex tourism in Thailand and the Philippines, the Folsom Street Fair behavior, the fact that 1/3 of child molestation is homosexual, hate speech and hate crimes, and so on.
WND is correct on this one....and surprised Farah has not dropped her yet for the attacks on Birthers. I guess you can add “Obama Supporter” to Ann’s new resume.

You can't see a difference between executing homosexuals and homosexual and leftists taking freedom away from parents, those with religious beliefs and anyone else not believing their behavior is fine and dandy?
In case you missed it, one of the communist goals for the nation in 1963 was the normalization of homosexuality. They knew if they could accomplish that, they could use the issue as a battering ram to eliminate a variety of freedoms.
