Sir Paul McCartney sang When I'm Sixty-Four down the phone to ex-US President Bill Clinton on his birthday this week.
The surprise serenade delighted the Democrat - who was only joking when he told advisers last month that a call from the Beatles legend would be the greatest present of all on reaching the age on Thursday. But his team took him seriously. As did Macca, 67, when they got in touch.
A source revealed: "Sir Paul knows Bill is a huge fan of the Fab Four and instantly agreed to ring him.
"Well, it's not every day you can get on the line to a former President. But Bill was even more over the moon when he heard him - and couldn't believe it when he started singing When I'm Sixty-Four."

Democrat-supporter McCartney certainly scored more of a hit than when recently playing in front of Barack Obama at the White House.
Then, he mocked George W Bush as he got the Gershwin Prize from the Library of Congress - saying: "It's great to have a president who knows what a library is at last." Devotees of Bush called Sir Paul "crass".

Bump!
good grief.....there went breakfast!
Get ready for the dry heaves:
McCartney at the White House
It’s a drag.
The former impeached President who is a rapist.
Are these people nuts?
Yes.
Ithought we elected a straight, black president...I think it’s time for a re-call
McCartney should have disappeared quietly in 1970. His legacy would then have been intact and he would not have become the laughingstock that he is now. Talk about a fool on the hill. Geez.
these people need to listen to Alice Cooper before they open up their big friggin’ mouths...
"If you're listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you're a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we're morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal." - Alice Cooper
