I never gave a thought about his handlers before your remark, but indeed they must have their hands full right about now.
Kind of makes you think twice about the purpose of Michelle’s trip to Spain and the meetings she attended. he may not have been stable enough to do them himself and his people probably see the deterioration.
It is no wonder that he has had the least amount of press conferences than any president in recent history. That would be pressure that was not controlled. He would have to answer questions off the cuff and without a teleprompter. God knows if he got called on something what he would say.

Your analysis is right on as well. He has some serious problems going on and though democrats seem to be jumping ship and distancing themselves, they have hitched their wagon to him. Little did they realize how severe his disorder is that he would so readily throw his whole party under the bus to satisfy his own psychiatric lust.
What a great shock it had to be that their liberal savior turned out to be someone who was so unstable that he needed to take frequent breaks from reality .. vacations, golf trips etc and that he can not stand up for them without a teleprompter. That he is indeed off the reservation and full steam ahead with his plans that they supported not knowing to what destructive ends he would go in his doubling down. Every time he finds rejection in his policy he doubles down and that is truly the frightening part.
When he is rejected at the polls in November, what will he do after that?
I have said since day one that he will never run for a second term. Not too long after he ook over I thought he would not finish out his entire term. I am more and more convinced that he will not last his final 6 months in office. Something .. will happen that forces him to take his last 6 months off .. replacing himself with Biden.
Biden may be an idiot, but he is a politician and has some rationality when it comes to understanding consequences of his actions I think. He would be better than Obama .. almost anyone would be better than Obama except HRC. She is as nuts as he is IMO.

But to think a day has come when a POTUS goes before the UN and criticizes a state for trying to do what the Feds won’t AND to say that people not able to buy a house is a violation of human rights

Well this creep traveled the ME slamming our country and praising theirs..least we forget our sitting President bowed to foreign Governments as well...the first ever!! But to go to the United Nations and slam us and single any of our states as he did is unforgiveable.....he is guilty of treason against our country by oppossing us at every international function that he can...The anger, distrust, and frustration people have is well understood and warrented. I believe we are sharing Gods anger.
They cannot pass judgement....they have zip zero juristiction over our nation....unless of course Bo impliments what they say...would he go so far as that...I do believe he will regardless of the outcry.

Wow—you have a really nice blog! (I couldn’t resist paying it a visit; I plan to go back! There’s a lot of good stuff there. :) You made me glad I don’t have Rush-24-7; if I had the option of watching as well as listening, my productivity would plummet. ;)
Anyway, back to the issue of Obama’s instability and his handlers’ nightmare. You put your finger on it when it comes to press conferences. As the state of the union worsens, even the sycophant press is going to be obliged to ask a semi-serious question once in a while. This really is the handlers’ nightmare, because malignant narcissists don’t handle any form of criticism well on a good day. The longer Obama is ‘trapped’ in a job he’s not enjoying nearly as much as he anticipated, the fewer good days he’ll have. The things he could blurt out on a bad day must keep the powers behind the throne awake at night.
If you look at Obama’s work history, you see that not only did he rarely apply himself: he never stayed in any one position more than a couple of years. He has a harder time conforming to any kind of expectation and/or constraint than even the average narcissist. This guy is getting antsier by the day, and you can see it in his increasingly reckless pursuit of diversion. His craving for five hr golf outings, for instance, has long gone past the point of anything that could be considered semi-normal for a POTUS.
Things can only get worse from here. Obama is destroying the economy, and that alone will keep his poll numbers sinking. The lower they go, the more erratically this starving (for wholesale adulation) narcissist will behave. What a mess!
I say clear out the UN, it’s nothing more than a VIP lounge for dictators and terrorists, and make Donald Trump an offer he can’t refuse. Even though the UN building and General assembly are great examples of mid-century architecture, let Trump make a deal with the Mohawks and replace them with casinos and a hotel, or better yet a football stadium so the Jets can once again play in NYC where they belong.

On to your assertion about him getting worse. He certainly will.
All he has ever done is give speeches about what he will do. Having never really done anything it is all speculation of “hope and change” that is what he did as a “community organizer”. Stir up people and pump them up to do something.
But when he finally gets what he wanted and has the power of the entire congress behind him and implements these pie in the sky dreams everything falls flat.
He has never been questioned by anyone because he has never been responsible before. Even in the senate he voted present so he never faced any repercussions for his decisions. Now he has had 2 years to do what ever he wants with a majority of congress who gave him everything he wanted. It tanks .. he can’t handle the fact that he didn’t know as much as he thought he did. he doubles down figuring his entire life of vast knowledge .. pumping people up and never being called on anything .. well he can’t be wrong in his own eyes. he has always been the one to go so far he thought. Always had a better solution.
Now .. what can he do? You have never heard him take the rap for anything without first blaming someone and summarizing with blaming someone else. It is always some one else who is to blame. God knows if you watch youtube at a speech where the teleprompter went down or he was giving an unscripted unrehearsed and uncontrolled question answer session he is all “ummm .. errr .. ahh .. well .. the thing is .. is is is is .. the thing is ... well hold on I’m getting to it .... I think .. err .. emmm ...”
Now imagine him getting hammered for his own antics and the fact that his policy is doing more harm than good. he can only go back to “campaign mode” the MSM is over it, the party is over and if he starts that they can’t cover for him anymore. he will get angry. His latest “Give me a break I am trying to eat shrimp” is an example of that.
he couldn’t answer without a script, didn’t want to discuss his failures, no one to spin for him and the things may have gotten nasty for him. he knows it .. but soon .. very soon, while he is out campaigning for his rats he will get stuck. I will bet any money on it that he will get drawn in at a fund raiser or political stump for someone and they will have him sucked in and it will go bad.

I met two who voted for Bo yesturday...who quickly admitted how ashammed they feel for considering him in the first place. They said they voted for him after the Kennedy’s endorsed him...go figure.
I still stand on McCain handed over the Presidency....and his run in Arizona just proved it. He never came close to fighting for the Pres. as we saw him do in this run to keep his Senate seat. Proof is in the pudding!
