ABC said there were “scores” of people there. Which means at least 20. They could not say hundreds or thousands or the tens of thousands which were clearly there.

The caption says that Beck’s views “run counter to the political views of Martin Luther King Jr”....let’s take a look:

“I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; “and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.”

This is our hope, and this is the faith that I go back to the South with.

With this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

And this will be the day — this will be the day when all of God’s children will be able to sing with new meaning:

My country ‘tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.

Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim’s pride,

From every mountainside, let freedom ring!

And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true.

And so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.

Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.

Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania.

Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado.

Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California.

But not only that:

Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.

Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.

Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi.

From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:

Free at last! Free at last!

Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

I had to get out my “magnifying glass with the light” to read it! LOL.

Just like Dan’s Bake Sale. When the trash cans were full, people neatly stacked their trash beside them.

Ol’ Bill either didn’t believe Glenn would get that big of a turnout or needs a somewhat graceful way to lose his time slot.

i posted those exact some points just now on another thread. The denseness of the crowd will depend on when the pic was taken. Depending on when people left to get there, it took longer than expected with the hours long waits at subway stations etc. My husband had one of his best ideas ever when he suggested that my daughter and i drive to Reagan airport and park in the short term lot and take the subway from there. it was ideal, we parked literally right outside of the metro stop in the garage and even got a SEAT on the subway in. i live very close to the Vienna metro and there was a mile long line to enter the subway station to get on a train!

How many of us caught the signific quote in the beginning of Sara’s speech. “Two score and seven years ago . . “
When addressing the importance of the date and place of the rally yestereday?

People were patient, understanding, and courteous, even with the heat and congestion. The security personnel, had an easy day.

Were there any arrests? I doubt it because if there were the MSM would be on it like white on rice. It would be the lead story on MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, etc. Can't you just see the headlines;

"... arrests mark Beck Rally..."

And of course they would have the photos to enhance the story. But it's nice to see now there are so many with video cameras so now the MSM can't get away with twisting the news to fit their political agenda as easily as they did in the past. It's got to be driving them crazy. You can see it in their faces when they reported this rally. Yes, I did watch the MSM thing time, but only to confirm my suspicions.

The point of the pictures is to show UK readers how America is overrun with hordes of reactionary lunatics - in their minds the larger the rally the worse America is. The American media's narrative is that only a few cranks would actually come out for such a rally.

Shows how the Legacy Media can't get their lies straight!

Could you make a blowup of Beck and his “Sarah” cue card? It would make a great addition to many threads.

I'm glad you like it Nit. I believe LadyJag could do a better job by layering. I just enlarged it but stopped when it started getting blurry, lol.
