Good catch. It's obvious from the color of his skin where the moustache would be, that he has very recently shaved off a moustache that he's had for a long, long time.

Good catch. Sorry if this was already answered (just started reading the thread). Islamics shave their body hair prior to suicide attacks. There are numerous interpretations for the practice, but the consensus seems to be body preparation for death, since a proper islamic burial may not be possible.
