I heard him say he would wait until after the mid-terms, so I guess it’s a possibility. He would most definitely get my vote.

I heard it too. I just bought a used copy of his book on Amazon.

I have always liked him. He articulates American Exceptionalism very well and he is always for America first.

I’ve often wished he would run.

There are certainly far worse folks who could run.

Countries and groups who mean harm to our beloved country would be shaking in their boots if he were elected.
He would also need to become cleanshaven to seek higher office because Americans really are that fickle about things.

The nomination process could use an ass-kicker like him.

Certainly professional qualified.

I would think a senior foreign policy position would probably be a more realistic fit - National Security Advisor to Secretary of State.

Considering he couldn’t get his UN Ambassador position confirmed in the Senate - might be a tough proposition unless we get a complete rout this fall.

The MSM would be “all over him” in a negative way, assiduously. Also, it would be very difficult for him to get the majority of moderate voters to vote for him, IMHO. Still, I wouldn’t mind him running for POTUS, and I would, definitely, vote for him, if he became the final choice for GOP POTUS.

THat’s the answer. His love of country and his unwillingness to cave to the UN.
