I wonder what would happen if every American created their own religion and demanded special accommodations from employers and government so they could practice it.

I LIKE this idea!! 300+ million individual religions, all clamoring for special exemptions from the government!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!

It’s tempting, isn’t it? I think my new religion would prohibit me from working on Fridays or before 10:00 on any day, and it would require me to alienate as many of my employer’s clients as possible. If the employer resisted that should be worth a few million $$. Would the ACLU support me?
