Hey McCain,

Why are you up there insulting our intelligence? Don’t even say the words “TEA partiers”

Wallace asking McCain about his flip flops, No chile, nuclear power, border security. McCain spewing all his canned answers.

I have to say that McCain is sounding like 2010 campaign McCain, not the old McCain.

And should the subject of the mosque arise...

Mosque building owners nixed $18M offer before taking $4.8M one

Fox and friends has a story that the US has gone from among the lowest unemployment rates in the world to the worst unemployment rate on earth in 10 years!

Gee! And, it all started in 2007. Remind me again who took over the Congress in 2007?

FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Sen. John McCain

McCain “Keynesian on steroids didn’t work”

^
Was the Democrat plan anything different the primary when you could have pinned that on either Democrat? No.

McCain “he said it for political reasons”

^
Is ‘Obama Care’ what they called the bill in the Senate, John? No. “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act”. Grow up and sound like a leader, not a petty, bickering, bitter politician.

Yep. How long will McCain's new tone last, though?

I like the way Kaine smirks each time he lies. Looks like he is ready to break out laughing.

Pretending is right. Now that “Puffle” is ranting away on Republicans. He’s dreaming about November. Make voters understand this is the old Republican party!

Oooops, he just called Boehner “SPEAKER BOEHNER!”

Morning AB, ALL....

Once again, thank you AB for dutifully doing this thread. Look forward to it every Sunday morn.

Folks, I’m at my wits end, alternately upbeat and positive and then down and discouraged.

It’s this Senate race...Mike Castle versus Christine O’Donnell.

Mike Castle, in summary, was once Delaware’s Governor, two terms. He then ran, won, and occupied since the early 90’s, Delaware’s one and only seat in America’s House. Delaware is one of few states with MORE Senators than Reps.

Now Mike Castle wants to ascend to fill Joe Biden’s vacant Senate seat. This would, in congress-speak, be a promotion as Castle would now only have to answer to the taxpayers once every six years or so and will be one of 100 instead of one out of 430 or so.

Mike Castle, just to complete the picture, recently was one of only two Repubs in the House to vote FOR Cap and Trade and for that awful DISCLOSE act. He also voted against the Iraq surge, for TARP and all Obama spending packages, for foetal stem cell research....anything liberal or Democrat, Castle was there with a yea vote. He did vote AGAINST Obama care but the day after he said he would not support any kind of repeal of the bill.

He’s awful folks. Worse than the Maine sisters, he makes Lindsay and McCain look like pikers.

And now he wants to be seated...not this coming January...but during this upcoming Lame Duck session when Castle can smile and help the Dems force through their remaining agenda such as Card Check (yes, Castle supported this), Cap and Trade....YES...he supported this.

The gloves are off in this part of Delaware and Castle’s forces, including Blue Bloods in the local GOP, are....dear Lord you’ve never seen viciousness like this.

Christine O’Donnell has run before in Delaware...in fact she was...please note...the GOP nominee in 2008 to run against Joe Biden. Christine’s also run in 2005 on a write in...in short, she’s been around. Some call her a periennial candidate but I’d argue she’s not there yet. She can’t get a foothold in this state except maybe this year when the public is infuriated with those in power.

They cast her as a devil woman, out spending campaign money on rents and such. She didn’t pay her campaign workers. She’s a nut case, accusing that she’s being stalked.

I know Christine’s story as I know Christine fairly well. I’d be happy to elaborate on the lies being said about her but for now, here’s the bigger thing to keep in mind....the Delaware GOP nominated her in 2008. They urged us to vote for her. NOW she’s an awful person that will ruin our world.

WAS THE DELAWARE GOP LYING THEN OR ARE THEY LYING NOW?

Folks, even on FreeRepublic they’re out and about, the entrenched, those who will offhandedly spread lies. Mike Castle’s got a lot of power. Until recently his campaign ignored Christine but The Tea Party Express endorsed her recently and poured big bucks into her campaign.

The Castle campaign is now scared and running attack ads against her...awful things....lies.

Any way, keep a sharp eye out. Some operative might get on this thread and lambaste Christine. This has been going on all weekend on FreeRepublic. Though they seem to only jump on threads with her or Castle’s name on it.

I know politics is dirty business but folks, if you know me one bit, and I know I’m just a name but over the years we’ve talked, fought and cried. If I have one ounce of credibility with any of you, believe me that Christine O’Donnell is a very, very nice woman, the sort of woman America should cherish. She’s a devout Christian, just a pleasant nice person with a burning urge within to try and change the direction of this country, in however a manner she can.

You’d all love her.

She’s not perfect. She’s had financial issues in her past and I’ll be glad to elaborate. I’m so tired of talking about it but I have investigated it all and it’s a big nothing of nothing burgers....college loans that took long to pay, IRS audits caused by poor bookkeeping. Christine’s long suit is NOT bookkeeping, though I’m sure Castle and Biden spend hours every day tracking, sorting and documenting their expenditures. The IRS granted her relief once she got the backup, read it with my own lying eyes.

At one point Christine was about to have her house foreclosed on. She didn’t stick the taxpayers with the bill. She arranged, I suspect, for a boyfriend to purchase the house but I speculate here.

All across America folks have had their homes foreclosed on. Many just sit in them until forced out, many up and left. Christine handled it.

Is it against some kind of rule that a poor person can’t be a U.S. Senator? Mike Castle himself voted for TARP to give money to big companies such as banks, GM etc that spent their way to the poor house but it’s some kind of major sin when a single struggling woman has money issues?

Again, these money issues are minor. As I’ve learned, I’ve had waaaaay more money issues in my own life.

But it’s all they have. She didn’t get Arab money to pay for her college. She doesn’t sleep around. They’ve got no big crimes in her past...she’s 40 years old.

Just some bills that she DID eventually pay.

I’m very demoralized. Talk about being mean....I’m just not believing the attacks on this citizen of our country and all to protect who?

Mike Castle?

Chris “Tax cuts for the wealthy” Wallace lobbing soft ball questions to King RAT. This bastard couldn’t tell the truth if his life depended on it.

They must both be members of “Man’s Country”

Wallace just said “Tax cuts for the wealthy” yet again.

The Dems have been very effective with their class-warfare “tax cuts for the rich” mantra. It’s too bad the media lets them get away with it.

Kaine on FOX - Dem. strategy is to target the tax cuts (extending them, that is) toward the middle class where it will do the most good. No tax cuts for the “wealthy”. —— idiots.

David Plouffe couldn’t tell the truth if his life depended on it. He is clueless. Bush tax cuts were for millionaires.

He does not envision a challenge to Obama in 2012 and not from Hillary -— they are a great team. LOL.

He knows the dem's are going down in November. Wallace just played dem. commercials for candidates who are touting that they don't work for the folks in Washington (obama, pelosi, reid), they work for the American people. LOLOL, they can't run fast enough from their own party.
