The lighthearted and fun interaction between them just shows you how much they love each other and their bond is unbreakable. Theres no backstabbing, jealousy, greed, addiction, rivalry or resentment with the Bushes like so many of those things that have divided and tore apart other prominent famous families! Theyre like the regular family from next door!

pattyvita, you are awesome! Thank you for finding and posting these wonderful pictures. Would have loved to be at the Conference. How terrific to see the entire Bush family in one place.

I just finished reading the autobiography of the man who designed those uniforms for Marines who had lost their hands or an arm in Iraq or Afghanistan. He talked to the men who had been injured, and they said they wanted to be able to dress themselves, so he came up with the band that includes Velcro closures.
His name is Vittorio Palumbo, now retired from his job as a tailor for the US Military, for many years, and specifically, in the final years, for the U.S. Marines. He is an Italian immigrant who arrived in the US in the mid-50s after having grown up in Mussolini's Italy. The book is "Italian Days, Arabian Nights", and deals with the family being part of plans to populate the area Mussolini considered Italy's Fourth Shore, in Libya. It is a fascinating book!

GREAT pictures. I love seeing GWB with these dear people who have fought and suffered for freedom. You know they are very close to his heart.
I think he will treasure those hand-copied Bible pages. Wow.
Laura looks lovely, as always.
Thanks again, patty!

I will always be thankful to God...that Bush was our President on 9-11. He does indeed believe in America and the values our forefathers hoped would endure the test of time.
Alas...between abortion, the gay "movement" and the insane quest by some...for socialism, our country is off the beaten path.

Thank you for your kind words, ohioWfan. Going thru a bit of a rough patch which hopefully will pass but we have good health, which is everything. Hope this nightmare in the White House will be over soon! I think we have a good man in Herman Cain. I was so impressed with him from the first time I saw him on Neal Cavuto years ago.
I just love your post! Our Dream lives on, he’s just not in the White House anymore! :) I still treasure seeing him at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati the Sunday before he was re-elected. I think it was Halloween. The stadium was filled with children in costumes and their parents full of hope that he would win the election—what a truly joyous occasion. We could feel that we were indeed going to have 4 more years of our beloved President.
A friend told me this afternoon that two young couples with children on their block are planning to move if Obama is re-elected; one family to Australia, one to Canada. The future of our children and grandchildren, and our country, is truly at stake with this person in charge for 4 more years. We need to pray a lot!
To: ohioWfan
Nope! He sure doesn’t look like it! Good genes and exercise sure does the trick!
To: Sacajaweau
So true, Sacajaweau. President Bush was the right man to lead America during that terrible period in our nation’s history.
Pity of what has happened since he left office.

Appreciate all of your nice comments on the pics. You gotta love GW and Laura...still doing some good deeds and trying to make the world a better place. That’s what makes them beautiful inside and out.
