What a wonderful day. I have been thinking about the Rally and the “message” of having God in our lives. Glenn is so right. If we all took his advise what a better Nation we would be. I was thinking if teens had a better relationship with God could that be an alternative to drugs and alcohol or being sexually active? They would learn that God has created each individual, like an artist with a painting. Each one is so unique and that is what makes us priceless. Their self esteem would be much better, they would not need to compare themselves to outside influences. Also with anxiety, which many young people suffer from if they felt they had a guided hand to hold theirs it may be better then a anti-anxiety pill. Although we all would benefit from strengthening our relationship with God, I believe the youth of today with benefit the most, maybe that is why Glenn wanted them there. The youth of today will save the tomorrows.

Seeing all the out of state license plates was amazing. People were so kind and friendly despite the fact that we had to wait an hour or so to board the metro. Once I stepped into the metro car, a man jumped up and offered me his seat.

On the way home there was a lady with three small children. At one point she propped up the baby so that he was facing us. He was so full of joy. Laughing, cooing, smiling. He made the guy next to me smile. It was obvious that he wasn't part of the rally. Those types were easy to identify.

So much kindness in this crowd.

Wow. Just lovely. It shows the type of people who attended this event were sincere and good-hearted people.

Now, let’s compare the people at this event to those who will be attending the libs’ rally on 10/02/10.

It was a day I’ll remember for a long, long time.

Though I wasn’t there in person I was there in spirit and ended up spending just about the whole day on this thread celebrating with you all!
