Hard to take them seriously as tough guys when they have such frilly furniture. Where did they get that stuff, from Liberace’s estate sale?

They should call themselves the "new" Black Pansies!

"We basically want to warn Pastor Terry Jones that if he burns this Koran, he's going to insight a wrath and chastisement on himself that he will not be able to bare (sic) and all he's going to do is add more division between Muslims and Christians when we should be sitting down at the table to resolve our differences," said Muhammad.

Another couple of [sic]s are merited by the "going to insight [sic] a [sic] wrath and chastisement on himself". That said, sometimes Christians can suffer persecution, not for the cause of Christ, but just for being buttheadedly stupid and obnoxious. Burning copies of the Koran, or the religious books of any other religion, is not consistent with these instructions for dealing with nonbelievers [interpolations in brackets]:
1. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse [even Muslims].

2. Live in harmony with one another [even Muslims].

3. Do not repay anyone [even Muslims] evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody [even Muslims].

4. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone [even Muslims].

5. What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church [even Muslims]? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside.

6.Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some [even Muslims].

7. If some unbeliever [even a Muslim] invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience.

8. Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God—even as I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved [even Muslims]. Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.

9. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people [even Muslims], especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

10. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice [even toward Muslims].

11. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders [even Muslims]; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone [even Muslims].

12. Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders [even Muslims] and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.

13. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else [even Muslims].

14. I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone [even Muslims]—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men [even Muslims] to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

15. And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone [even Muslims], able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct [even Muslims], in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

16. Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one [even Muslims], to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men [even Muslims].
And just because something may be someone's "Constitutional right" doesn't mean that it's wise or even that it's consistent with Christian responsibility.

I think it’s the reporter doing all the misspellings.

If so, then she sure is a dumb white b*tch.

(Is that racist?)

The liberals will always side with evil. It is how I categorize their support for the ground zero mosque.

Other congregations need to show up in force to back Pastor Jones.

I live in North Texas and know Gainesville quite well... Every other man and some women within 50 square miles of Gainesville own two - three or more guns... and these folks do not take kindly to outsiders telling some local pastor what he and his flock can or cannot do... in their religious beliefs... This could be a real showdown... AND I am very troubled that local law enforcement would actually ask the pastor to not go through with their intended symbolic act... Mind blowing... that law enforcement would promote - letting threats of violence stop a legal religious act... Head Shaking...

Gotta laugh at the way muzzies are able to lead blacks around by the nose even though the islamic countries are the only ones that still practice slavery and were also the ones who sold blacks to the white slave traders back in the day.

That's because most 'black's encountered the branch organization of the Islam movement, called Black Muslims, in prison. It was a lifeline for them. A discipline. A faith. It promised work for them when they got out. It helped to get them released.

Once out, they are soldiers for the cause. There is no 'out' for them either. Just ask Malcolm X.

It's like a drug you get addicted to, and if you try to withdraw, you die.

So why did Black Moose succeed where the gospel seemed to fail?

Burning an English translation doesn’t count. It has to be in the original Arabic.

Thank you for the correction... the geography may be different, but I doubt that the people are... Same story - different state... locals will not tolerate radical Islamic fruitcakes trying to stop a local religious event... gunfire may errupt...

>>”I believe in peace but if you aggress me, I am going to fight back,” said State Chairman of the New Black Panther Party Mikhail Muhammad.

This guy doesn’t seem to understand he’s not in New York or a similar state.

Gainesville Florida is the home of the University of Florida, great university, it’s my Alma Mater, but a lot of liberal nutjobs there, as in any college town.

First, it was Tim Tebow and the Bible verse on his eyeblack. Now it is this. Gainesville doesn't seem to be your typical college town anymore. I can't imagine either thing happening in Berkeley.

Acts 19: 18 Many also of those who had believed kept coming, confessing and disclosing their practices. 19 And many of those who practiced magic brought their books together and began burning them in the sight of everyone; and they counted up the price of them and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20 So the word of the Lord was growing mightily and prevailing. 21 Now after these things were finished, Paul purposed in the Spirit to

The New Testament does include book burnings.

Don't tell me you're so indiscriminate as to be unable to see the difference between recent converts burning their own magic books and a church called the "Dove Outreach Center" burning a central religious text of another religion or that the appearance of something in the New Testament, even done by people who called themselves believers, doesn't necessarily denote approval (after all, the Corinthians were supposedly believers but having all sorts of weird sexual relationships that Paul said even the pagans didn't engage in), much less establish a general rule of behavior (for example, nowhere is there anything like, "and the apostles ordered that all believers bring forth non-Christian scriptures and writings and burn them as a sign of their belief in the one true faith.")

I threw all sorts of other religious books away when I became a believer because they were no longer consistent with my life but I didn't launch a media blitz to draw attention to the fact.

Of course they don’t see it. Only those that have not been blinded by evil can see it. These are the people we’re at war with and it’s come home (to roost) right here in our own neighborhoods and back yards, after decades of fighting this intolerant “religion of peace” from a distance.

And of course now, we also have to worry about fighting the leftist/Marxist enemy within in DC. The only question is.... after so many years of peaceful and pampered living.... are we up to the challenge?

I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
