Well, I think that the fine folks of Brownsville need to do their shopping just outside of town. Problem solved - they can still use plastic bags, and tax revenues in Brownsville drop as stores within the city have fewer sales.

As an added bonus, employment within the city drops as stores lay off, but stores outside of the city which still allow people to use bags hire more workers to accomodate the greater customer load.

In San Francisco, a male might get away with carrying one of those. Around here, you'd get ridiculed, and possibly shot if you get too close to someone's kids.

Someone one just came up with another “tax” under the guise of being “green”.

That's exactly what all this green BS is - a way to take away money from those that earned it to distribute among the elite and to use to buy the votes of the lazy.

. . .I've been to Brownsville and it is one of the ugliest cities in Texas.

This is true, but they do have a wonderful zoo.

They say it happened in San Antonio !!!

Obama will be making no more public speeches in Texas.

He claims every time he gets up on stage to make a speech, some Texas cotton farmers starts bidding on him.

God Bless Texas!

"Let's watch"

Brownsville shoppers are one step closer to Eden for six days now.

Even the western sides of WA and OR States are too green for me. I've been avoiding B.C. for years now. Alberta is quite a bit better and I am looking forward to another trip.

Most of Canada has followed Europe into secular Godlessness. The extreme environmentalism has taken the place of religion.

Notice that the wind turbine is a secular replacement for a cross above the city.

The Pagan wind temple tower on Grouse mountain even seems to have its own little altar in the visitors centre.

I also noticed that Whistler/Blackcomb has a homosexual welcoming centre.

But no mention of churches in the community.

Go to Hell BC

I’m glad I stole $12,000 from BC when I had a fellowship there (it was a lot of money at the time).
