Murkowski supporters: come to "campaign kickoff" tonight - write in campaign a go?
Anchorage Daily News ^ | 091710

Lisa Murkowski supporters are urging people to come out tonight for what’s being called a “campaign kick off,” although her campaign manager isn’t ready to say that she’s decided to run.

Bonnie Jack, who was a Murkowski campaign elections observer for the count of absentee votes, sent out an email this morning. “Join us at the Kick-off of Senator Lisa's campaign -- with a theme of "write in her name in and fill in the oval."

"Denai'na Convention Center, third floor and hopefully out on the sunny deck, 5 pm. Bring your family including children, friends and business associates. We plan to make history!”

Jack confirmed to me that she sent the email, and indicated that obviously the conclusion to be drawn from it is that Murkowski is running.

“MURCOWSKII (Don’t forget the spelling)”

Uh, are you sure that isn’t supposed to be “MURKOWSKII”?

Hopefully, this elitist fool won’t run a write in. But if she does, at least it’s going to be fun to see how badly her ignorant supporters can spell, and the infinitely long counting process and court suits involving “intent”.

I say “ignorant”, because I’m not exactly sure who would actually vote for her. I assume the leftest will vote Rat, and the conservatives will vote Miller, so what group of voters does that leave exactly to vote for Murchowski?

Lisa Murkowski should be endorsing and helping Joe Miller now that she lost. I would have supported her if she had won the primary, but she didn’t. I would have also reluctantly supported Castle in Delaware had he won the primary. These Republicans who lose fair and square should be putting all their support to the person who beat them. The voters who voted for the losing candidate should be doing the same thing. No one is going to have every single candidate they support win, and that’s why they should do the right thing and support the best next thing. Of course it’s hard and very disappointing for candidates and voters who lose, but you shouldn’t let that give the Democrats a better chance at winning. Suck it up and do what you know is right.

I assume most of her ads will have to necessarily concentrate on how to spell her name. Therefore, it would be fun to see a Miller ad that ends with how to spell HIS name.

Yeah, that's all she is doing. She knows there is no way she can win this way. Apparently she is so bitter she would rather see a Democrat win than Joe Miller.

She’s taking orders from the establishment.

Wonder if this has Newt's/Mitt's fingerprints on it as did when Dede the Scuzz RINO threw her support to the liberal. Newt and Mitt showed their contempt for conservatism with their "The Reagan Era is Over" mantra.

The key question: Does AK election law require a majority? Said another way, does a plurality force a run-off election, or does a plurality win the race?

Any news article that doesn’t answer this key question is written by imbeciles.

If the RNC or any spin-off tries to support Murkowski at this point, they are dust and no longer a national power.
They better start listening to the People because we are taking over. The RINOs can go pound sand and start their own party.

This is classic! A Dem starts a write-in campaign for Murkowski. It’s almost like she wants to ... I don’t know ... split the conservative vote or something.
