Lisa Murkowski supporters are urging people to come out tonight for what’s being called a “campaign kick off,” although her campaign manager isn’t ready to say that she’s decided to run.
Bonnie Jack, who was a Murkowski campaign elections observer for the count of absentee votes, sent out an email this morning. “Join us at the Kick-off of Senator Lisa's campaign -- with a theme of "write in her name in and fill in the oval."
"Denai'na Convention Center, third floor and hopefully out on the sunny deck, 5 pm. Bring your family including children, friends and business associates. We plan to make history!”
Jack confirmed to me that she sent the email, and indicated that obviously the conclusion to be drawn from it is that Murkowski is running.

I’m convinced Cornyn and his pals only want a majority if it includes a bunch of liberals that they like to call moderates. I doubt they’ll ever run one ad against Lisa.
As for Rove saying he’s not a cheerleader for republicans, I can buy that. However, he doesn’t have to be a slimer of the republicans either.?
Surely they jest?
Lisa has taken the "I" out of her name and replaced it with a "Y" because because it is all about "Y"ou, the citizens of Alaska!

The RINO’s feel every bit as entitled to power as the libs, if not more so. They have outright contempt for anyone not of the elite.
Lisa, when Sarah beat your daddy in the primary in 2006, he didn’t go and run write in, he accepted his defeat with class. Why can’t you?

I’m not ready to ‘canonize’ Haley yet. I don’t think everyone should have the charisma to be in the running for the presidency. For instance, I’m a huge fan of Marcia Blackburn, but I don’t care to see her as Pres, VP, Sec. Def., Sec. State, etc.. I don’t doubt that she would be a much better Sec. State than Hillarious, but still, I don’t care to see her in these positions. I LOVE the way she votes, and I like the way she disciplines (all Southern charm and graces) a wayward TV commentator or 2. We need that, too.
Cornyn voting record in 2009 was 100% Conservative according to site I looked up last night.
His role as head of election committe is to support incumbents ..odious as that is to me. Now his and the committee’s job is to support primary winners.
They don’t like anyone decreasing the Republican’s chances to win.

Actually, no. The Alaska SoS has already said that as long as they can determine who the voter was trying to vote for, the vote will count, even if the name is misspelled. So probably a vote for "Lisa M." would still count.

This is also striking many RATS very hard also. Not two wits worth of difference between the RINOs and the RATs - professional political entitlement (’ruling’) class through and through.
