A day after President Obama declared that his administration is not “some academic exercise,” Lawrence Summers announced plans to step down as director of the president’s National Economic Council and return to Harvard University. Christina Romer just left her post as head of the White House Council of Economic Advisers to go back to the University of California, Berkeley.

I was thinking about this yesterday. The Obama admin and the democrats have decimated the lives of so many people to prove something to themselves.

When I was still in school, many, many years ago, I had a prof that said “If we weren’t careful, there would be only three to four governments in the world.” In his way of thinking, this was the plan for the future. I wish he was still alive today to hear his opinion of what is going on today. He was right on. When you look at the EU, the plans for the NAU, etc, you will see what he was talking about.
In Woodwards new book it says that Obama hands out homework assignments to his staff.
Funny how they always scurry back to their little academic hothouses to ponder why their latest marxist theory didn’t work as planned.

They’re all going back universities...where it doesn’t matter if you’re a complete failure - as long as you have tenure and you tell the rest of the faculty how great they are.
