Yep. Then there are koolaid drinking sheep that see something new and shiny and think its the reincarnation of George Washington.
I think that the homophobia here sometimes goes overboard. To some people, that means I’m supporting the homosexual agenda.
Nothing could be further from the truth. I don’t watch any show that flaunts or promotes homosexuality. I never watched American Idol. But if I had been watching, I would have stopped watching while Ellen DeGeneres was on the show because she was hired for the express and exclusive purpose that she was gay. She has since departed from the show. (This does not mean that I boycott a show or movie because the person happens to be gay. Ian McKellen is a great actor and Tammy Bruce is a fine commentator.)
I don’t hate gays, but I’m tired of them being promoted as a victim group.
You have promoted the pro homosexual view quite a bit here at FR with your posting history for the gay issues, and your mocking the idea of a gay agenda.
Replace "Mrs. Palin" with "Obama" and "women" with "black men," and you would sound just like an O-bot.
Oh wait, you already do.
*snicker*
” Thats odd, everyone else in the nation, including Obama and the Democrat party,...”
Yeah, MSNBC is behind her already. Wonder why?
The debates--if Palin gets that far--will either prove that Palin is for amnesty or that Palin is a liar.
This is why Rush Limbaugh has said she is the politician that he admires most.
Here is the quote."Thats odd, everyone else in the nation, including Obama and the Democrat party, conservative talk show hosts, the media, political columnists, GOP voters, conservatives, sees his primary opponent as Governor Palin. (Darrell Issa?) That is what makes Palin the most powerful politician in America (outside of the President), and the most effective endorser in our history."
However, since you seem to be simply attempting to ridicule me for no other reason that to satisfy yourself for whatever reason, I will bow out now and leave you to your fun.
Yes, because there are plenty of "conservative" FReepers who mindlessly support Palin and who have no problems about pulling out the race/sex/minority card when confronted with real, valid evidence that invalidates their pipe dreams.
The comparison is dead on the mark, and you know it.
” Thats odd, everyone else in the nation, including Obama and the Democrat party, conservative talk show hosts, the media, political columnists, GOP voters, conservatives, sees his primary opponent as Governor Palin. (Darrell Issa?)”
What happened to DeMint? DeMint has had his foot on Obama’s throat since the day he took office, and like I said, DeMint has a senatorship at stake, whereas Palin only has book sales to win or lose. Like I said, MSNBC has been promoting her, and speaking of her likely winning the Iowa caucus.
LLS
DeMint does not have a Senate seat at risk he is safe and secure in a Senate seat and is safe and secure in renewing it for 6 more years, that is about as secure as a politician can be. Palin has been risking it all for two years, everything, her entire political future, and she is the dominate politician in America, and Obama’s biggest opponent, that is not a meaningless statement when political observers like Rush, point out that she lives in Obama’s head, she drives him nuts, and the White House focuses on her and her attacks.
I have to take you at your word, that within your capability of interpreting politics and media, that you sincerely believe that Governor Palin is MSNBC’s favorite.
I don’t agree with you, I know that Rush supports her, but MSNBC does not, at least that is my opinion.
” I have to take you at your word, that within your capability of interpreting politics and media, that you sincerely believe that Governor Palin is MSNBCs favorite.”
Favorite “Republican” to run, just as McCain was their favorite to run in 08. They knew Mccain had the best chance to lose, and they know Palin has the best chance to lose in 2012.
Did Rush say he supports Palin for POTUS? THAT I do not believe.
You do have your own, unique personal opinions.
I’m still trying to wrap my head around the Darrell Issa as tied for “Obamas biggest opponent in America. opinion.
” That political lightweight is Obamas biggest opponent in America.
“uh no....Jim DeMint and Issa hold that distinction, and they have political offices at stake”
Seems you suffer from the same malady you accused me of.
I rectified mine by posting your entire quote.
Once again, Palin can say whatever she wants to, as she has no political office to lose. She has also endorsed 6 RINOS, which is hardly conservative. She has also continued to say that John McCain is very much a member of the Tea Party.
So then she was speaking truthfully when she said that McCain is part of the Tea Party and that Tea Partiers support McCain?
Or when she said openly that she supports McCain's position on immigration, a position that has always emphasized amnesty?
I didn’t misquote you, it was you saying that Issa is tied for “ Obamas biggest opponent in America” that is fascinating.
Palin is far and away Obama’s chief opponent, that is why she dominates the news as the conservative leader, the Republican leader, Obama’s biggest opponent, etc,. DeMint does not, although he is a major figure, and Issa? not 5% of America even knows who he is.
Lindsey Grahams reelection Co-Chairman and Chief Endorser, and Mitt Romney’s exploratory committeeman, chief early endorser, and senior advisor to his campaign, knows about endorsements, that is why he did not endorse Hayworth.
Palin is not in office because she resigned to devote herself to this crusade, she is risking the presidency, and she is doing this alone, not from the safety of a guaranteed Senate seat for 6 years, a time when all will be forgotten.
Palin is the outsider that is taking on Mitt Romney, the GOP itself, and the President, mano-e-mano.
That is why when asked the other day to name the American politician that he admires most, Rush Limbaugh did something that he never does, he clearly, and straight forwardly answered, that Governor Palin was the one that he admired the most.
