Curtis trivia:

"Yonda stands da castle of my fodda" - false quote

"This is the palace of my father, and yonder lies the Valley of the Sun." - line from 'Son of Ali Baba', 1952,

The Defiant Ones.

That is hands down one of the greatest movies of all time. When I saw the vid at a garage sale, I grabbed that sucker so quick it woulda made your head spin!
Haven’t watched it in six months or so, maybe I’ll pop it in...

Oh wow. His passing makes me feel really old because he was a big star from my early childhood recollections in Hong Kong in the early to mid 1960’s.

A great film actor. Who can forget his performance in “The Sweet Smell of Success”? Match me, Sidney!

That’s Jack Lemmon... Tony Curtis is much more attractive as a woman.

One of his early successes was ‘The Sweet Smell of Success’, with Burt Lancaster. It was an attack on the gossip columnist, Walter Winchell, with lines like “you’re a cookie full of arsenic” (Lancaster to Curtis).
