SNIPPET: "WASHINGTON - The terror group tied to the Ft. Hood killings and the Christmas Day undies airbomber urge wannabe American jihadis to open fire on crowded restaurants in the nation's capital to massacre U.S. government workers.

The advice appears in "Inspire," the latest issue of a slick propaganda publication by Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, Osama Bin Laden's franchise in Yemen.

"A random hit at a crowded restaurant in Washington, D.C., at lunch hour might end up knocking out a few government employees," Yahya Ibrahim writes in the 74-page jihadi how-to magazine.

"Targeting such employees is paramount and the location would also give the operation additional media attention," Ibrahim added.

Other trash talk came from "Samir Khan," an American who came to AQAP from North Carolina, who produces the publication and wrote that he is "proud to be a traitor in America's eyes."

If Muslim terrorists tried this, it would create a huge backlash against American Muslims. American Muslims continue to remain silent on the issue of terrorism. Many normal Americans make the assumption silence is consent. I believe American Muslims fully understand the extent of the Islamic terrorist threat and remain silent for fear of becoming a target.

The 9/11 response was a national response. I fear a response to the type of mayhem and murder suggested in this article would be very local.

The Ft. Hood Islamic terrorist murders were committed against the military, a military already engaged in fighting terrorism around the world.

However, a random attack on an American street, restaurant, shopping mall, etc., would elicit a response not so much from the government or the military, but from American citizens. Obama has already taken a pass, stating simply such an attack would “be absorbed”. It does not take much to read between the lines on that comment.

The unfortunate reality is the Holder/Obama regime would be more focused on those that retaliated against such an attack than on those that committed the attack.

I see young Muslims at public shooting ranges training up on small arms. It is fairly easy to tell if they are out there to enjoy themselves or if they are angry. And there are angry ones, usually 18-24 years of age and in groups of three.

This will reach a flash point.

When it does, the shooting range will likely be the safest place to be as these angry pricks will have the half-life of an Obama campaign promise.
