Despite an uproar over his remarks about gays, Carl P. Paladino appeared on national television on Monday and expressed revulsion at gay pride parades.
Mr. Paladino restated his criticism of Andrew M. Cuomo, his Democratic opponent for governor of New York, for having taken his young daughters to a gay pride parade, saying that such events were inappropriate for children.
“Is that normal? Would you do it? Would you take your children to a gay pride parade?” Mr. Paladino asked the host Matt Lauer on the “Today” show, speaking of Mr. Cuomo.
“I don’t think it’s proper for them to go there and watch a couple of grown men grind against each other. I don’t think that’s proper. I think it’s disgusting.”
“No, I don’t regret the remarks,” he added.
On Sunday, Mr. Paladino, speaking to a group of Orthodox Jewish leaders in Brooklyn, said children should not be “brainwashed into thinking that homosexuality is an equally valid and successful option — it isn’t.”

“Pride” parades ARE disgusting! Geez, THIS is news?
Well this sure seems to have the swishers in a swivet.
They ARE disgusting. It doesn’t matter what lifestyle the participants have chosen. It is disgusting.
“Disgusting” is a kind word for what those events are.
A horrific exhibition of the depths of sexual depravity is a more accurate description.
That any politician of a major party running for office would be this blunt about it... well it’s rare.
People need to understand why this guy is on high moral ground - even with “rank and file” homosexuals.
It is because “normal” homosexuals look at gay pride parades the way normal heterosexuals would look at porn pride parades.

He will win this debate as long as the subject is the parades, and not homosexuality in general.
98% of America agrees with him. It's an open question how many people will feign dismay and say "I can't vote for such a bigot! I mean, I agree with him and all, but he shouldn't say such things! It's so offensive."
We need to re-assert the importance of morality. Without a return to traditional standards, all other political efforts are just building our house on sand.
Gay Parades are disgusting. The only thing that I think should be allowed is that they should be allowed to go to the hospital for goodness sake to see their loved ones who are dying or had surgery or whatever. But that is IT!! If they would not have been so stubborn in the 80’s when they refused this request, we probably would not be in this mess today.

God bless him. Of course people don’t like the truth, that gay parades are without exception pornography on parade. Many years ago, I caught a night club show In N.O. show featuring female impersonators. Those guys played it for laughs. Nowadays they are dead serious.

Would TV networks show a Palindino ad showing that parade, to which Cuomo took his daughters? No, because it would be too lewd...which would make his point.
